Did you recently take on (or consider) a loan of 84 months or longer on a car purchase?

Thanks!
Yes. 91.
Retired oil company employee here.
Having said that, Chevron's "Techron" is probably the best around...so if I were going to stick to a steady diet of premium gas, I think I would stick to Chevron.
Since my M35 is leased (2yrs and almost up), you can probably safely assume that it gets the cheapest regular gas I can find. I tried premium for four tankfulls and found no difference in economy or performance (most of my driving is around town). I now only use regular and it runs just fine.
Is this being caused by a rigged remote control for the gate or is there another problem? Anyone with similar stories?
Any help is appreciated. Thanks
The one flaw on the 06 M series was that Infiniti put in a passenger seat with very limited adjustability. It was uncomfortable to most anyone who sat in that seat for any length of time. In 2007, they upgraded the passenger seat to being fully adjustable.
It's harder to find a used 2007 because many of the 2006's were on lease for 24 months. Lots of the 2007's are also on 24 month leases, but those leases won't end until later this year. I would wait and buy a 2007.
(I owned a 2006 M35 and now drive a 2008 M35 so I speak from experience).
Your comment certainly proves the benefit of this forum
I bought a 2007 M35 in July (2008). Love everything about this car except the drive. I'm afraid I'm not cut out for a sporty drive. I am looking to trade or sell the car already. If you're interested let me know.
I recently bought a used m45 used and wanted to find an aero kit for the vehicle. Does anyone know where you can get one after market???
Here are their answers:
Infiniti: Good question, I don't know, let me find out. Then I was transferred to dealership #1.
Dealership #1: about an hour
Dealership #2: 5 minutes
Terrific. Does anyone have further insight?
Here is my understanding of how music box works:
1. You may load it between 5 minutes and 60 minutes.
2. Alternatively, you must be driving the car to load it.
3. There is no better way to use the music box other than in real time while driving the car.
Anything I'm missing here?
Using it seems to be more of a problem. It seems that you cannot use the Search function to load music except when the car is stopped. You can only play what you set up when you last stopped the car. Have you found anything different? This seems to be a real limitation. When I'm on a long drive, I don't want to stop everytime I want to change Artists or the type of music I'm currently listening to.
Have you found it to be any different?
I don't think you would get an answer from any car company on this type of question....for example, how long can I run the radio at full blast in a parking lot before a football game....and stll have enough power to start the car.
I wonder if anyone has found a work around to getting music into the music box?
I read in one comment that an owner wanted the infiniti dealer to install the tires b/c of the sensors. My dealer is 80 miles away and I'd prefer not to make the trip.
Thanks.
Actually, this is not true...there are many batteries specifically designed for deep discharge but they are generally not used in cars.
Deep discharge batteries are found on golf carts, battery operated tools, electric trolling motors on boats...and other similar applications..
Has anyone used this? My sales person said that it is not a feature of the M35 and he is apparently correct, although it is plainly explained in the manual.
I'm looking at other cars but can anyone tell me of any major differences between then and now? Thanks.
The navigation recognizes your voice better, but is much more wordy and time consuming.
Some of the old voice options are no longer offered on the US cars (ventilation controls,....)
a few more audio things included....hard disk, .....
That's about it.
The 08 has the Advanced Technology Package (which I've found hard to find on used M's) and the 09 has the 'x' factor as the standard technology package. (From a cost perspective, I think I can both vehicles could be had for aprx the same price - 32-34k.)
I'm leaning towards the 08 because the adv tech package and since I live in TX I don't have much need for X capabilities.
Does anyone have any feedback on pros or cons with these vehicles? thx in advance,
-t
