There are two competing stations, Mobil and Citgo, still at $3.96 while others decreased to $3.88 two.
Over the last 3 Shell fill-ups mileage has pretty much remained the same, +/- a couple tenths, as if I was filling up at the usual place.
I did see a couple of stations yesterday in Wilkes-Barrie PA were selling for 3.559.
1 is Red MO and the other is unmarked.
If it's the Double D IPA, I had better be careful.
MY sister went and brought me a Commander Cody T shirt.
The kids are coveting it. :surprise:
Was in Indiana and prices where pretty much the same as what I paid last Friday, about 5 ~ 10 cents cheaper. Even further into Indianapolis the prices were the same as along I-65.
Got company visiting overnight via float plane. Aviation gas for their little Cessna is running around $7 a gallon for them, although they can use marine gas that usually runs between $4 and $5 .
The kids are coveting it.
Me, too!
After a low of about $3.47 when everything was dropping we're nwo up to $3.53 at the same Sunoco station.
Sudden big spread on prices - from as low as $3.53 to as high as $3.69.
Went on a little trip up to the Deception Pass area - mileage wasn't too bad, all things considered. Here's most of a one way reading, I forgot to take a pic on the other leg of the route:
Not bad for a big old 5.4L V8 in a ~3800lb car with about 400lb/ft to let it loaf along.
Add in this mini-heatwave we're going through and people's pockets are definitely getting hit with energy costs.
But looks as though things are rebounding in the market
Leaving for a long road trip in the morning and will be buying a lot of that pricey Canadian liter stuff. Looks like gas at Sault Ste. Marie MI is $2.78, while it's running $4.80 in Sault Ste. Marie Ontario.
Looks like I spoke too soon about the market... ...hold on kids, it's going to be a long bumpy ride...
The other stations by home and work have either maintained $3.85 or increased to $3.89.
Driving through Darien I saw a price sweep of 19 within a 1.5 mile length. The price at a Shell right off the highway was $3.96 but about a mile or so off the highway the price at the Clark was $3.86 but a Speedway a couple blocks up the road was $3.76.
Last price paid was Mobil premium @$3.829/gal..In Florida premium is priced about 26-30 cents over regular..
Just did a quick mapquest. About 800 miles, further than I thought.
My favorite spot was $3.259 this morning.
Low gas prices will be a short celebration for it ain't the right message..Couple days ago, I passed the Fiat dealership and they are loaded with the Italian flavor of "500", have yet to see one on the road..
Which states have 92 or 93 still as premium?
