    MSRP 43,005
Got it for $340/month with 6% sales tax
    39mth and 10k

Is this a good price, due at signing were just Acq+1st month+TTL and security deposits.

After running around from dealer to dealer, I used Zag.com that put me in touch with a few local dealers that were willing to offer a decent deal. Here's what I got:
G37x sedan, Premium Package, Maple wood trim, splash guards, cargo net, trunk carpet -- $417/mo., 15k mi; $0 down, $1,700 out of pocket (1st mo., TTL, Docs etc.), 1 free oil change. Maybe not the absolute lowest price but I'm happy. I had a G35x and this one seems better. 7 speed trans and back up camera are definite improvements. Good luck to all still shopping around. .
  • jerrykenjerryken Member Posts: 14
I don't know how anyone can get by with only 10k but that sounds like a very good deal to me having just paid $417 for a sedan w/ Premium, 15k, wood, $1,700 due at signing. Good luck with it.

    Hey Everyone,

I have been reading this forum and have learned TONS about leasing. Only think I am trying to figure out is, what is the money factor and residual for the above mentioned car. We have excellent credit so we should qualify for the best tier.

    Thanks.

I just leased a G37 couple with premium package and navigation....45,405 MSRP. I'm putting $2,000 down that includes first month payment and will have 38 remaining payments of $580. Cap cost was 41,519 with residual of 28,151 (62%). I'll be picking it up tomorrow. Can't wait.

Did I get a decent deal?

    Base Cap Cost: $46,945
    Fees (doc, acquisition): ~$1000

    htwnrver,

Sell price looks good. Looks like your $630.32 doesn't include sales tax. Is the 0.00215 MF the buy rate? What's the doc fee and what state are you from? Sales tax rate?

how much would it be approx to lease a base g37 with 15k/year in NY?

I just received numbers for the following and it seems a little high. Can anyone advise?

    $38,240-MSRP G37 Sedan+Premium+tire/wheel
    39 month/12K
    $0 down at signing
    $35,971.63 + $599 dealer fee + $595 acquisition fee = $37,165.63 Cap Cost
    58%-Residual Value
    .00121-MF

    $488.00 mthly including tax

Also got a second quote on the following:

    $40,150-MSRP G37 Sedan+Premium+tire/wheel+Navigation
    39 month/12K
    $0 down at signing
    $38,544+ $599 dealer fee + $595 acquisition fee = $39,748 Cap Cost
    58%-Residual Value
    .00121-MF

    $533.23.00 mthly including tax

    Thanks

Does anyone have the current money factor, residual, and rebates/marketing support that infiniti is offering on the G37x and the M37x? Is there any difference in programs between the AWD and non-AWD models?

I just got my G37X w/ Premium, Trunk Carpet, Splash Guards, First Aid Kit(LOL), No Nav. MSRP was 39,700 and here's the deal I got. Purchase price $35,353 with $1,000 rebate, $1,000 Conquest. They paid 5 remaining lease payments on my previous car totalling $1500 (I had 7 left) and let me keep the car. I paid $500 at closing $429/month for 39 months/12K year. Every other maintenance/service free. Standard MF and residual for Tier 1 thats posted all over the board. Great Car, I Love it. Got it at Ramsey Infiniti and I did everything over the phone and went there to sign the papers. It was a really easy and pleasant transaction. I highly recommend giving them a shot, tell them Dean sent ya! Any thoughts on the deal?

I'm looking at least rates on the G37 SEDAN

Also, for the current lease specials, are those special residuals or money factors or just example leases? I'd like to get a G37 sedan journey with Premium and Sport Packages and the current specials leave out the sport package. I priced out USAA car buying service and the special price is MUCH higher than. According to USAA, i can get the same cap cost ($35018) for a G37 Journey/Premium AND Sport package. Do you think it will be possible to get the same deal for the more expensive car (The dealer agrees to the deal BEFORE i even go to the dealership)?

Hey djneph. I'm glad that you've found this discussion so informative. Here's the information that you're looking for.

Infiniti Financial Services' July buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2010 G37 Sedan Sport with 15,000 miles per year are .00107 and 59%, respectively for consumers who qualify for its top credit tier which it sounds as though you should easily qualify for.

Good luck and make sure to stop back and let us all know how everything turns out.

Hi rob524. Infiniti Financial Services' July buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2010 G37X Sedan with 15,000 miles per year are .00112 and 58%, respectively for consumers who qualify for its top credit tier.

The numbers for an otherwise identical lease of a 2011 M37X are .00130 and 56%.

There is indeed a difference between the programs for 2WD and AWD models.

As far as cash incentives go, Infiniti is currently providing a $1,000 cash incentive to all customers on leases of the '10 G37 Sedan and $1,000 to loyal customers on the '11 M37.

Hi d_nyholm. Infiniti is currently providing lease support, aka special money factors and residual values, on all trim levels of the G37 Sedan. These special factors and resids are used to calculate the sample lease payments that the company uses in its advertisements, but they are not available exclusively on the sample vehicles.

Infinit Financial Services' July buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2010 G37 Sedan Sport with 15,000 miles per year are .00107 and 59%, respectively.

If you provide me with the MSRP and selling price of the exact model that you are interested in I would be happy to use Infiniti's current lease program to work up a sample payment on it for you.

    Thanks Car_Man!!
Here are the current numbers that I was looking at:
    MSRP = $39565
    Selling price = $35018

I am looking at basically any mileage term, but would prefer 12K miles. Also, if the 39 month lease has favorable residuals or money factors, I would go for that as well. If you have the time to work up a sample lease with thier money factors and residuls that would be great.

Could you also tell me the residuals on the 10K and 12K mile leases for 36 and 39 months? Thanks!!

EDIT: After searching inventory in my area, it doesn't look like there is anything other than an AWD model of the 200-300 G37's around :( I will try to locate the above car, but if I am unable to, can you give me the residuals and money factors for 10K,12K,15K, 36 and 39 month leases on the AWD model? Thank again!

I will be visiting the dealership this weekend to look at the 2010 g37x coupe. I'm trying to do my homework before I walk into the dealership. Can anyone tell me the July money factor and residual percentage using the following parameters? Also, can you confirm that Infiniti is offering $1000 loyalty cash to current Infiniti owners?

    G37x coupe
    Premium package
    Interior accent package
    12,000 miles/year
    39 months

    G37x coupe
    Premium package
    Interior accent package
    15,000 miles/year
    39 months

    Thanks everyone!

You're very welcome, d_nyholm. Let's crunch some numbers.

According to my calculations, if you were to lease a 2010 G37 Sedan Sport that has an MSRP of $39,565 and a selling price of $35,018 through Infiniti Financial Services right now for 36 months with 12,000 miles per year, your zero down, pre-tax monthly payment would be around $377, assuming that you qualify for its top credit tier.

Here's the numbers for the AWD model that you're interested in. IFS' July buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2010 G37 Sedan AWD with 15,000 miles per year are .00112 and 58%, respectively.

The numbers for an otherwise identical 39 month lease are .00126 and 57%.

If you were to lease this car with only 12,000 miles per year its residual values would be 1% higher. Its 10k resids would be 2% higher.

Here's the info that you're looking for, dtambellini, just in time ;) .

Infiniti Financial Services' July buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 39 month lease of a 2010 G37X Coupe with 15,000 miles per year are .00163 and 61%, respectively.

The residual value for a lease of this car with only 12,000 miles per year would be 1% higher.

Infiniti is indeed currently providing a $1,000 cash incentive to loyal customers who lease this model.

Good luck in your negotiations this weekend.

I have been following G lease rates for a couple of years. I don't know if I have ever seen such a great lease rate, and throw in $1000 cash. I wish my lease was up this July instead of in 2011.

What has the better lease factors, 39 or 36 months for a 2010 g37x coupe? If you could post the MF's and residuals for both that would be great. Thanks in advance.

    Car_Man,
I contacted a dealer with a car that I was looking to purchase. After we had a price, I told them the residual and the money factor that I was using to determine the lease. They stated those were not the residual and money factor for a 2010 G35 Sedan with Journey, Sport, and Navigation for 15K miles/year and 36 month lease. They gave me these numbers:
    Residual = 56%
    Money Factor = .00121

Did you maybe give me the 10K miles/year rate????

That changes the payment by about $50/month. Are you certain of these rates? When i first heard them from you they did sound way too awesome, but lease deals are out there sometimes!!!

    Thanks again!

    Car Man and friends,

Thanks so much for help in past. Here is the deal I have been offered.
Car is Journey Sedan with Premium
    THoughts?
Should I be doing better? For example...the net price of car is 33202 but that is after a cap reduction of 1156 (1000 of which is from Infiniti this only 156 from me.) Should I be getting a better price for car before applying the reduction?
Also, I prefer to pay acq (bank fee) out of lease and I do not think there is any way around the dealer fee with dealership where I live....they pretty much all stand pat with it although I can give it the ole college try.

    Dan

    The due at signing is:
    $595 acquisition fee
    $549 dealer fee
    $250 registration fee
    $60 Florida lease surcharge
$8.50 Florida tire, battery & lemon law taxes
$375.99 first payment including Palm Beach taxes
    $1156 Cap reduction
    = $2994
minus $1000 conquest cash (infiniti kicks in 1000) = $1994 due at signing.

    Net Sale Price is $33,302.01,
    MSRP $37,725

    36/10K = $1994.81 due at signing, $382.31 incl.tax 6.5% ; MF = .00107; Residual 60%
    39/10K = $1988.49 due at signing, $375.99 incl.tax 6.5%; MF = .00121; Residual 59%

Going to 12K miles changes the residuals to 59% and 58%.

I run a Infintiti dealership - here is some more insight for you.

We pay USAA to give us leads (your name, info, etc.) - this is important information to know.

We sell cars to make a profit, either on the sale and/or financing of the vehicle.
So, the residual maybe set by Infiniti due to terms and miles; however, the money factor (which there are 5 Tiers) can be marked up.

The "Target Price" given to you by USAA is a target, a range - it is also assuming you are buying a vehicle not leasing. Some incentives are not eligible when you lease vs purchase. So, if you take the Target purchase price along with the "buy rate" on the money factor you will come out with a fantastic payment, that no dealer will do because it doesn't make them any money....customer gets frustrated, they curse the dealer, and we get stereotyped as the bad guy in plaid suits - :)

The residual on 36/15k is 57%; the money factor buy rate Tier 1 is .00107 - we would do the deal at .00149 (to make money). Remember, you don't want to get ripped off, but you can't expect the dealer to import the vehicle from Japan and give it to you for free (which is what your doing if you think you will get a USAA sale price along with buy rate on the lease, etc.)

PS The lease on the G is awesome, you get a lot for the money!

Thanks for the insight. The funny this is, the dealer that I found a car at has it listed online for a internet price. It is a VERY good price (no USAA or VPP involved). Now, they are listing a price and telling me the residual AND the money factor are higher. If they would give me the correct residual, thier money factor is fair in my opinion. It is just that they are playing with both numbers and saying that is the numbers from Infiniti.

Question is, how does Car_man get a different residual than the dealers are getting? Seems strange to me. Even the poster a couple back got 10K/year at 60% and 12K/year at 59%. The 15K/year is 2% lower?

If my dealer would give me 12K/year at 59% and thier money factor at .00121 i'd be all over it...does that sound like a fair deal from the dealers perspective??
  • sewellgsmsewellgsm Member Posts: 775
Yes, that sounds fair - and the dealer can NOT mess with the residual once you decide the length and miles - that is set by Infiniti.

Infiniti just came out with a new low mileage residual, in the past you could add 1 pt if you went 12k and 2 pts. if you went 10k.

    NOW - as of July 1, 2010:

    12k (on 24-60 month leases) = Add 2 pts.
    10K (on 24-48 month leases) = Add 3 pts.

Maybe your saleman does not realize this - it has been the other way for years! :)

    Carman,
Visited the dealership today. Used the info you provided yesterday and got a better deal than first proposed. I've listed the parameters below. How did I do?

    2010 G37x Coupe
    Premium and Interior packages
(floor mats, mud flaps, cargo net)
    15k miles/year
    39 months
Only first payment due at inception
    $528/month (includes tax and gap)
Sale Price $40,455 minus $1000 in loyalty cash

Also, Infiniti paid the last three months of my FX35 lease at $599.

    Thanks!

Would like to confirm the following:

    G37 Sedan, 36 month lease MF 0.00107;
    10K Residual = 61%
    12K Residual = 60%
    15K Residual = 59%

    G37x Sedan, 36 month lease MF 0.00112;
    10K Residual = 60%
    12K Residual = 59%
    15K Residual = 58%

Also, there is a $1,000 lease cash incentive, and another $1,000 in loyalty cash. My last Infiniti lease ended in 2008 – would I qualify? My dad currently has a Nissan lease (not Infiniti) – if I get him to co-sign with me, will I then be eligible for loyalty cash?

    Thanks!

I just leased the G37x AWD with Premium package, (MSRP - $39,065) for $358/month with $0 down except for tax, tags, and title. 12,000 miles/year/39 months.
I'm not sure why you're paying almost $200/month more for the same car?
  • d_nyholmd_nyholm Member Posts: 80
I wish i could tell you since Car_man, Sewell from before, and my dealer all have different residuals.
  • dtambellinidtambellini Member Posts: 13
    reckhart:

You've peaked my interest. I'm a little confused though. You stated the MSRP of the G37x AWD w/ Premium as $39,065. I see the MSRP for this configuration as $43,465. Are you looking at the coupe or sedan? I am leasing a coupe. Also, I'm not putting anything down. Taxes in Maryland are 6% or roughly $2400. If $1000 = $30/month, that's approximately $75/ month. I think 12k to 15k miles adds about $15 month. The MSRP could also be adding to my cost. Maybe these things help to explain the difference. When I use all of the lease calculators online I get pretty much the same deal I received at the dealer. If your deal is a G37x AWD coupe, I've got some more homework to do.

Thanks for your feedback. I appreciate the comments.

Just got this quote from a San Diego dealer, he claims it is a "copy of his invoice". I had already sent an introductory email and let him know I will be getting a car this week. I have not mentioned a lease yet. Seems high...do I just address that right away and say your price needs to be lower? Also is freight charge common? That seems wierd. Any other thoughts? I have already noted down the depreciations and money factors listed above. I am going to look at a 12k 36/39K lease. Bear in mind this includes no cap reduction at this point...

Sorry, I was talking about the sedan, not the coupe. Also I got mine at the highest volume dealership in the US so they may have been more interested in moving a unit than making a nice gross. It still sounds like you could get down to around sub $500 though. The cap cost on the contract is $33,858, that's with nothing out of my pocket but they do have $1,000 loyalty or conquest cash available to them.

So, I am hearing and reading all types of incentives...need some help figuring out what I can get:

    I heard...
    a) $1000 dealer cash
    b) $1000 infinity lease loyalty cash
    c) Pull Ahead lease payments (up to 3 if your lease terminates after 9/1)

I have a lease with Infinity and want to know can I get all three, 2 out of three? anyone now? I am going to buy a car this week...

    Hi all,

I'm trying to get a 2010 G37x Sedan Premium+Nav (total MSRP $41,410, invoice $38,016) for $37,300. I calculated the price taking into account $1000 dealer cash and I'd like to use loyalty customer cash to cover lease drive-off. Figured out, that dealer should make >$600 on that deal. What do you think, is it reasonable? Can I combine $1000 loyal customer cash and $1000 dealer cash in my calc?

    Thanks a lot.

am interested in 2010 G37x coupe with prem + Nav. 12k miles

Offered $3400 down includes tax 1st month pmt
    38 payments of 389

does that sound like a good deal? I am in NY. Also, they are quoting me at $200 for new license playes, can that be right?

    Thank you.

    Car_man,

I was pricing out the Inifini G37 Journey with Nav and Premium package recently. The dealer told me that since the car has Nav, the residual value actually is 1% lower than the numbers you listed on here. Is that true?

What numbers do you have for the g37 Journey Sedan, premium pkg, with nav?

Looking for residual and MF for 12k/yr and 15k/yr. I am considering 24 mo/36mo/39 mo.

Where is the sweet spot for months?

    Thanks!

Infiniti (unlike Honda/Acura) does not change residuals when Nav is added to a car. The residuals change between Base, Journey, X, and Sport.

24 months is usually a horrible lease, and considering the $595 bank fee and possible doc fee its better to spread them over 3 years instead of 2. 39 months is almost always a better lease with Nissan Finance.

Thanks. So when people are posting residuals on here are they going by the base version?

I assume the residual value drops when going up to the journey? That does not make much sense to me if it is a car with more options.

I got lease numbers on a G37x AWD with premium package. The dealer gave me selling price in 37K range.Forgot the exact number. I need to put $5600 including tax, title, tag registered in VA.Monthly payment is 298/month for 36 months 10000 miles/year. If i choose 12,000 miles then my payments are going to be about 7 dollars higher. What do you guys think ?

I got a new G37 journey with premium and nav. I added a maitance package (1790.00) that covers the car for 60,000 miles

I'll post the numbers without the maitance package.

    MSRP $39510.00
Cap Cost $36400.00--less rebate of $1000.00 for $35,400

    Lease fee $595.00
    dealer fee $449.00
    Licence plate $597.01

Residual (3 year with 20,000 miles per year) 53.2% or $21,020.70-- 15,000 pre paid miles on top of the 45,000 included lowered residual by $1500.00

Money factor .00017 (used 9 msd's for $4500.00)--total finance charge for 3 years is $357.93!!

Total out of pocket $6500.00 (4500.00 was for for refundable msd's)

pre tax payment is 415.37/ after tax is $454.00

after adding maitenance package for $1790.00 payment went to 510.00. The nice thing is that the msd's did not go up with the higher payment for the finance office add on.
