So I guess mine is still pretty young... My '01 4.3 V6 Ex-Cab just turned over 115K the other day. Still runs strong. Gets used as a daily driver/worktruck. It could use a paint job, but I don't think I'll bother as it is used as work truck and work trucks are supposed to scratched and dented. Although mine isn't dented very much, just a lot of scratches. The only real dent is the tailgate that got pushed in by a roll of carpet hanging over the front end of a trailer I was hauling to the dump.

I have a1999 S10 V6, auto trans. Extended cab, and a cab high fiberglass topper. I love my truck it has 170,000 miles on it. I have kept the body up, that's difficult in Michigan, the "rust" state of the nation! My truck looks and runs well. I change oil @ every 5,000. It doesn't use any oil. Gas mileage is not the best 14 mpg around town, 17 on the high way. But still better than a $300/month new truck payment, plus I don't think the Colorados are anywhere near as good!

I have reached a milestone with my S-10 this past week. My vehicle odometer reached the half of a million mark. It still has the original engine which is a 2.8 V-6 and 5 speed manual transmission. My question is, how many S-10s have reached the same goal and how long can I expect to continue to drive my pick-up?

My 93 ChevyS10, 5 speed, extended cap has just had it's timing chain replaced for the first time and is 514,065. I drove 135 miles a day to work and back and it has been excellent. Original engine, one rear seal replaced, battery, regular maintenance items but other than that it has been great! Wish they still built them, would purchase a new one.

I have a 2000 ZR2 Blazer with 225,000 on it. I have owned ot for several years and have done much electrical and mechanical repairs to it. Just put 5th set of ball joints (upper and lower). Replaced all chassis wiring underbody from front to rear. Fuel pump feeds were first to go.

I have a 1999 Sonoma with the 2.2L 5 speed. I bought this truck in 2001 with 25,000mi on it. It now has 225,000. My daily commute is at least 65 miles round trip, some days a lot more. I get about 26-28 MPG, so I am reasonably happy with my return on investment. I have always used Mobile 1 and just recently changed to the high mileage blend. I have a small leak at the front engine seal, and the tranny is going to need work sometime soon, but I still think it will be cheaper to keep than replace. I just replace the worn out parts and keep rolling down the road!

My 2000 s10 has 243000 and still running strong. Replaced AC Starter Alternator but engine runs like new.. I use Walmart Super tech synthetic (quaker state) and a Delco filter. I change oil and lube chassis every 4000 miles. I have also changed the Manuel trans cast ( Delco synchromesh) and rear end 75/90 synthetic.
