I have a 2004 pacifica and DVD changer has always worked great but when me and my wife got home tonight we tried to eject a disc to play in the house and disc 1 will not eject or change to another disc. Disc 1 will play fine but anytime you try to eject or change disc it just makes slight noise for a couple seconds then display's ERROR msg on the display.any help on what causes this or how to take apart to fix would help.
I'm not sure what to do with this particular vehicle, but I had this happen on the changer in my Lincoln. I took the dash apart, removed the changer, and CAREFULLY pulled each disc out with needle-nose pliers on which I had taped up the ends to prevent scratching the discs. (once the changer is out and in your hand, in the case of the lincoln, there is a slot that runs down the front through which you can push the discs up to the top opening and pull them through.)
Once I did that, I put everything back together with the empty changer and turned the key. The changer went through a couple of minutes of cycling. Once complete, I was able to load the discs back in and it worked fine.

We've had similar problems with an 2005 DVD stacker. I believe it could be related to playing copyed DVDs, it just seems to be a very sensitve unit. We have had it replaced 3 times, (btw, apparantly Chrysler always replaces electronics with refurbished units). The last time we got the error on a recent roadtrip none of the DVDs would eject at first but eventually they did. I believe temperature may have something to do with it but patience also helps, although the kids may not agree. If you have more than 1 in there try selecting other discs and hitting eject, it may take several times.
I just had that same problem last month. All of a sudden it wouldn't stop making the circulating noise, nothing would eject and I couldn't get anything to work on it. I have an extended warranty, so the dealership fixed the problem, but I am still waiting on the company to send me back my discs. Apparently they send the whole unit off and the company that receives it, takes the discs out and mails them back. Sounds funny, but I guess I will just have to wait and see.
I have a 04 Pacifica Touring without dvd changer. would like to add the oem subwoofer and amp to my system. Can i get info on it online? my local dealer is useless!
HI, Chris today I remove the 6-DISK DVD-change, I didn't find the 12 pin harness wiring, only 16 pin hook up to single CD-player, I want to know the 12 pin harness come with Vehichle already, or you bought it from market? if you bought it from market, please advise where I can find it. my car is 2005 Pacific Touring, I was called the Dealer, they ask the 12 pin harness wiring for $300, it killed me thank you very much
Hi all, I bought a set of aftermartket video (Jensen VM9412 and a 16" Pyle LCD). The installer told me that they had to bypass the factor amplifer. However, after the amplifer was bypassed and Jensen replaced the factory CD, I found the sound quality was degraded (No bass). Not too much, but definitely degraded.
Questions: 1. Does it had to bypass the factory amplifer? If yes, any way I can reuse that? 2. Will the sound qualify be improved if I install other amplifer there? 3. The installer told me the degradation is due to both the so-so Jensen unit and the amplifer bypassed. Is it correct?
By the way, the installer is an honest and a very experience store. I just don't understand why it had to bypass a good component. Thx for your great help.
Is the new unit amplified? I assume so. Does it have line-level outputs? If so, then run those to the stock amplifier. OR, alternatively, you can run high-level outputs to the stock amplifier IF it has high-level inputs. OR, your third option if the new head unit doesn't have line-level outputs or the stock amplifier doesn't have high-level inputs, you can buy a small box that converts your high-level outputs from your stereo into line-level outputs that you can then run into the stock amplifier.
So, in other words, no, you do not have to bypass the stock amplifier. There is always a way.

I have an 04 Pac with the 6 cd/dvd changer w/ the factory installed flip down LCD screen, wireless headphones & remote. I also have sirius satellite radio that runs through this system.
My question is this...how can I switch the channel of my sirius radio without changing the chapter of the dvd my son is watching? :confuse:
And my other concern...the owner's manual says I can play my mp3 player through the jacks on the front of the in dash unit. I bought the Y cable & plugged my ipod in and nothing. I can't seem to get it to pick up the signal. So, any help on how to get my ipod to work through the factory stereo would be greatly appreciated. I have been using the car cassette adapter and to say it sucks is putting it mildly.
Warmest thanks from Florida in advance for any assistance offered!
1. Yes, the new headunit equiped with built-in amplifier - "DVD/CD receiver with built-in MOSFET amp (15 watts RMS/40 watts peak x 4 channels)"; 2. From the Jensen VM9412 manual, it mentioned this "4VRMS Line Output - All channels". I think it means line-output;
Questions: 1. Is the 2007 Pacifica factory amplifier accept line-input? I was told by the installer that the Pacifica's amplifier is so special. That's the reason they had to bypass the factory amplifer; 2. I see the VM9412 installation diagram shown a set of connections from the headunit to a power-amplifer. Are they the line-output?;
Wow! Well, I'm not surprised about the sound. I mean, that's only 60 watts total! I'm running 100 watts in my little roadster and even that is pretty lame. So 60 watts in the Pacifica will just get lost in its vastness.
I can't remember what the stock power is, but it is probably somewhere between 180-240 watts.
I really don't know anything about the Pac's amp specifically. I just know general stereo stuff. I've probably installed about a dozen or so in my life. If you can get to the stock amp, you can take a look at it. The other option is to buy an aftermarket amp for that new head unit. BUT, unless you plan on upgrading the stock speakers, you need to pull those and see what they can handle. You don't want to overpower them.
I see by the diagram to your stereo that, yes, you have both powered speaker lines and line-level outputs to run to an external amplifier.

I too had to bypass the factory amp. The Pac has a special wiring system used by Chrysler on a majority of their Infinity sound systems. There are only two line inputs into the amp one for front audio (including left, right and center) and one for rear (including left, right and center. I have the wiring guide for the factory amp if you want one. I ended up running new wiring to the rear to bypass the factory amp; was easier than trying to figure it out. I'm currently running a double din Jensen that has 240 watts on board with a 300watt amp for the 10" sub. Sound quality with the deck, with and without the sub is night and day better than with the factory 60 watts, I actually have to set my bass for the speakers to a level 2. You may need to go into the audio setup and adjust, increase your treble, bass and loudness settings to start. There are also some other areas with Jensens to set the size of your speakers and sound modes. May take a bit of tweaking to get the sound just right.
1. Any chance you can send me the wiring guide? cheungwsj@hotmail.com 2. What many watt the factory amp can output? 3. Is there any way to connect the Jensen VM9412 to the factory amp? e.g. combine the left and right signal to 1 wire and connect it to the amp? Apologize, I don't know mobile audio a lot.
Again, thx qbrozen and 04pacman a lot. I like this kind of experience, i.e. learn a lesson from an issue.
well, based on pacman's info, no, you won't be able to use the stock amp. At least not in any conventional way. Although, the description has me a bit confused. I mean, if only one signal goes in, how do 3 come out? Sure, the unit could split the signal, but that wouldn't be true stereo, let alone true surround sound. hmmmm... now i'm really curious about how this thing works. I don't think my wife will appreciate me tearing apart her pac to find out, though.
James, it sounds to me like it would just be easier to buy an aftermarket amp.

From my understanding, the Pacifica's amplifier has only 2 inputs - 1 for left channel and 1 for right channel. That's all. The stereo input is then splited into center, left (front and rear) and right (front and rear).
Hi PacMan, If you're still here, pls correct me if I'm wrong about the amplifier inputs.
Okay So I bought this basslink on line, it has not been delivered yet and I am debating weather I can do this on my own or not. I would love to save the money and am actually looking forward to the challenge. Has any one done this before and could walk me through this? that would be great. I have a pretty good knowledge of car stereos and have done some basic installs in the past. I know I need the wiring kit for the amp and am planning on taping into the speaker wires before the factory amp for the signal to send to the amp on the basslink. I saw the guy who did the dvd and stereo system installs pictures showing the amp in the back so i figured it will be easy to splice in there as I am putting the sub in the back. What about the switching for off and on, from what I have read using the speaker-level will do it but now very good at it. So were is the best to run for that? I don't have a wiring diagram so I am really just shooting in the dark. Any help would be great THANKS!!!!!!!!!!
Hmmm... it has been a while, but I believe the basslink switches automatically when it detects a signal. I don't think that should depend on speaker-level or line-level. It seems to me either should do it. But I could be wrong. I hooked up my basslink through speaker level (not in the pacifica). I'm sure the basslink instructions will answer that question for you.
Your problem in the pac will be power. You'll have to run a wire from in the dash or under the hood right from the battery.
I know, I know, I'm master of the obvious, right? ;b

I had read that it would switch automatically but also that there was a long delay and alot of popping. Its good to hear that you are not having those problems, thats one less thing I have to worry about. Were your speaker level splices pretty straight forward? And did you use both front and back Speaker level inputs or just one?
I used just left and right rear speakers. I used scotch connectors and since this was a sedan and i put the basslink in the trunk, I didn't have to go far with the wires. Oh, and the battery was in the trunk.
There was never a delay with switching on, nor did I have popping issues, but there was a delay with switching off. So after I shut the car off, the basslink would stay on for maybe a minute or so. Not a big deal, but it would actually produce feedback when I opened the trunk. It was very weird and I don't know the cause, but if I popped the trunk within a minute of shutting the car off, the basslink would emit a very loud humming noise.

there are 3 different types of factory amps.120 watts 6 chanell which usually on base pacs;200 watts 7 chanell on upgraded base and on touring models ;and the intermezzo 385 watt 8 chanell with the sub in the back and this is mostly on intermezzo touring and limited. i have an 05 touring FWD with 7 speaker 200 watt amp on...at leaset had till while ago.when i foulnd out that i could upgrade to intermezzo with just purchasing the 8 chanell amp,sub and sub housing which normally runs about $700 but i got mine from a junk yard for $150 now i have the intermezzo system which sounds way better than 7 speaker system.last week i purchased another 8 chanell amp from ebay for $45 to set my sister's touring pac with 8 chanell. if you have the touring model there are lot you can upgrade on it.i did not have the auto headlight now i do,did not have the fog lights now i do.already had the rear entertaintment system so did not have to worry about that.tourings are pre wired to be upgraded so it makes it way easy.my next project will be the nav and either back up camera or the back up sensors.
To those of you out there that have upgraded the stereos on the old Pacifica. How and at what location did you end up running the power lead for amps to the battery. I am about to add a powered sub to my system and need to run power to the battery but am wanting the easiest and least messy way of sending this wire from the cabin into the engine compartment. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Wow I had no idea. I have a 2007 Touring Limited Pacifica. I have the 200watt amp in it. I have the back up camera and rear entertainment. My questions are: Is there a way to link the 6 disc dvd changer to an aftermarket head unit. Also is there a way to use the backup camera screen and hook up an after market Navigation to it. Please help...
I just purchased a 2007 Touring signature edition and my only disappointment is the audio system, so I need advice on adding an aftermarket head unit. This vehicle has an OEM navigation system and a 6 disc in dash changer. Since this is my wife's vehicle, I would like to keep any upgrades as clean as possible (wife acceptance factor). From what I have seen in my research, interfacing with the talking Nav feature and the cd changer digital link are the problems. I would prefer to keep the changer and the nav system is a must. Any ideas on how to integrate an aftermarket stereo while retaining the talking navigation feature?
What do you want to upgrade because just changing the head isn't really going to change the way the speakers sound. I ask because I have a 2004 that I have felt the audio is a little under the weather. I too want to keep the look as original and clean as possible so I have decided to add a powered subwoofer to the system. This will allow the factory speakers to in essence breath a little easier because they will not be struggling to produce the bottom end of the music. This is the hardest for car speakers as it takes a lot of power and bigger cones to push the air. I will be able to turn down the bass level on the head unit and allow the sub to take over. Freeing up the factory speakers to produce the mids and highs much more efficiantly because they will getting the power they need. The pacifica has great component speakers in the front with highs that will rip your face off produced by the small tweeters installed just in the curve of the dash on driver and passenger side. The speaker in the middle of the dash really does a great job with mids as well as the door speakers which also add great mid bass so with some tuning of the sub and the rest of the speakers the system should sound killer. I purchased an all in one unit that has the sub and amp together in one small package(Infinity Basslink) that only takes up one cubic foot of cargo space. It also comes with a remote bass level knob that is mounted in the front of the car so that on the fly adjustments can be made in the bass level. So if you want more bass or less depending on were you are or what you are listening to, it can be done without crawling in the back and turning knobs. Also it is very easy to integrate into the existing system as the amp has speaker line inputs so you just simple splice into the speaker wires and you are done. I have not as of this writing installed said speaker system as I am waiting on wiring harnesses. But I will let you know how it goes, take pictures of the install post them so you can see what it takes and tell you how it sounds. And hopefully between now and then someone will respond to my post just before yours (#127) on the easiest way to run my power cable through the fire wall and all will be grand. I don't know if this helps but thats my two cents worth.
:confuse: I purchased a 2005 AWD Pacifica Touring edition with 6 disc cd/dvd player with 7" monitor. My question is, how do I play a dvd on the 6 disc cd/dvd player on the monitor? I put in the dvd in the 6 disc cd/dvd changer and all I get is the sound from the dvd, no picture on the screen. I tried using both remotes that came with the car. One for the 6 disc cd/ dvd changer and one that came with the 7" monitor. Do I have to set the radio on a specific channel to watch the dvd on the monitor? I read the manual over and over again but I can't seem to get it to work. Thanks in advance to any feedback, this site is great.
Perhaps the upgraded Infinity intermezo speakers in the Pacifica Limited may produce highs that will rip your ears out and the mid bass speakers will perform just fine for my tastes, but I dont have the more powerful system in this vehicle. The speakers could be the weak link here too, I have considered that and I do plan on adding a Sub as well. But I own a high end home audio system and the deficiencies in this system were immediately apparent. Namely, muted and unclear highs, weak at best midrange, poorly defined and muddy mid bass and of course, a lack of any real bottom end (without a sub). Plus, the basic principle in high end audio is that you need to start with the best possible sound from the source, within budgetary constraints, since you are always fighting a loosing sound quality degradation battle from the source on back to the speakers and there too. Hence the mega buck pre-amps, amps and cables involved in high end home audio. And while the nay sayers scoff at the prices of this gear, the sound quality is really something special and easily heard when compared to mid or entry level audio. Another option I was wondering about is replacing the OEM 200 watt amp with the upgraded 385 watt amp and sub out of the Limited model. It is wired for a factory Infinity dual voice coil sub, from what I can tell from the wiring diagram. Has anyone out there done that? If so, what cost is involved in the amp & sub from Chrysler? My reasons for the aftermarket head unit is strictly sound quality and I have yet to hear ANY factory radio that can match the sound of even a mid priced aftermarket stereo, much less a more expensive unit. But there is still the talking navigation system integration problem. And the factory curved bezel may be hard to match, so I may have to keep the stock unit.
the speakers are fine. Changing the head unit will allow me more cuztimaztion of the sound instead of just bass and treble and fader. I would have other choices....(example if you add one of the sony xplod head units with its DSO and sound enhancing features you can tell a bbbbbbbbbbiiiggg time difference. I appreciate your reply.
No, I bought it from a Hyundai dealership. The previous owner traded it in for a new Car. The vehicle has an extended warranty on it. Would the warranty cover this problem? I have 30,000 km before it expires. When you say the source, would that be on the monitor or on the 6 disc changer?
that would be on the radio display. As you change the source, it will read the sirius channel, FM channel, single disc, or disc-changer. So as long as the radio display says something like "D01 T01" (meaning disc 1, track 1), then you are on the changer. "CD 01" just means the single CD player on track 1. Now, you DO have the disc in the changer and not in the single player, right? I don't think the single player would even give you the audio off the DVD, so you must have it set correctly.
The warranty is through a Hyundai dealer, so I have no idea what it will cover. If you just bought the car, I would think they would fix it for you if it is broken.

I have it in the 1st slot of the 6 disc changer. I called a Chrysler dealership and they are going to take a look at it. They told me it will be covered under the extended warranty. I have 2 remotes that came with the car and I am wondering if I even have the right remote because one remote is for the disc player for the monitor and the second remote only functions the changer to from disc 1 to disc 2 and so on. Thanks for your feedback.
I just got a aftermarket screen added to my 2007 pacifica. I have the single disk DVD/CD player and the 6 disk changer. DVD movies work fine in the 6 disk changer, but I cannot figure out how to play a movie through the headphones and music through the front speakers. Any help would be appreciated.
My "Farenheit" DVD (factory installed) doesn't have sound now. It worked before thru the radio & now I can't find the channel or mode I'm supposed to be in . It is an overhead dvd and the disc is inserted into the overhead unit, but the sound comes thru the radio somehow. Just bought it used w/o owner's manual. Pls help! Thanks! :confuse:
Hello, I added a 300 watt amp and 10" sub by using the power already run to the factory amp in the rear. I have not had any problems with popping or feedback by doing so.
I agree with you; the head unit is the foundation for a gret sound. I don't care if you have the most expensive speakers possible, if you don't have a good head unit you wasted your money. I used a midline Jensen double din media system and have been pleasantly surprised with the sound. as far as the bass I opted for a aftermarket 300 watt amp with a 10" sub wired using the factory amp harness. Working on a new bezel to change the current look, using a gel resin. I will post additional pics when complete. If interested check my profile to see pics of the media system.
Were you able to find a solution? I just bought a 2004 Pacifica and am having the exact same problem with my three headphones – one of which was brand new from the dealership. They won't go green and otherwise work when I perfectly follow the instructions. http://a332.g.akamai.net/f/332/936/12h/www.edmunds.com/media/townhall/webxicons/- emotorcons/emo_angry.gif Any advice on activating wireless headphones would be appreciated.
I have a 2007 Pacifica touring limitted it has the premium stereo with 6 disc dvd changer i have the backkup camera also.... only thing i need is navigation is there a way to add the navigation to the system without having to buy a new stereo system
I just bought a 2004 Pacifica LX. It has the changer, but no DVD or Nav system. I just want to play my MP3 player (not IPOD) through the system without having to use a radio transmitter.
On my previous car, I put in a new radio that had an imput in the back, so I ran an audio wire from there to the front, where I would plug in my MP3 player.
I don't want to put in a new radio, so I was wondering if there was an input on the back of the factory radio, or if I can unplug and use the input for the changer or something like that. If anyone can help, I'd appreciate it.
I was mistaken, there is not a changer on the stereo.
I did find an adapter (PIE CHRY02-AUX), which looks like what I neeed, but I'm not sure if it will work with my stereo because I'm not sure if I have CD changer controls. If not, can I unplug a 10 pin CD input and plug this in? All we ever use is the MP3 player and radio, so it's no big deal, if that's possible.
Did you ever get information about this. I have the DVD player, but no remote (they forgot to give it to me). Can I still operate the DVD player? I have the headphones.
Ok again......I have a Chrysler Pacifica 04 that already has the factory 6 disc dvd player that is analog not digital. I would really like to install a monitor, aftermarket of course. The factory monitors for a 04 are only 7" and are like $1000. Which there is no way I am going to pay that. I would really like an after market overhead monitor without the dvd player in it and with the inferred head phones, for around $200, which I haven't found yet (dont' know wht I am looking for) . Any of the shops in my area know nothing about the connection, but will install it for around $180 if I find it. One shop offered to make a connection with relays, which I was told will eventruely fry my control system. Another shop told me I need possibly a U spec, which he is still unable to find. So, I need to know what I need to connect it, and where I can find it. Now, I can not afford to much, and just would like some piece and quiet in my car from my children. :confuse:
Hi sorry for the delay, haven't logged in for a while. You will need a wiring harness which is very expensive and if you want to hook up a screen that's not Chrysler you will have to splice into it which can be very difficult. If I was you I would just go with the Chrysler kit to save yourself a lot of trouble and money unless you know how to splice into the harness. I believe that they sell kits for people who have the DVD player but not the screen on Ebay for like $300.00 or so. IHarness I found may be wrong on the price but search for it on Ebay and see what you come up with. I did a lot of research before diving in and found it was easier and less frustrating to add the aftermarket deck as well as the screen. Let me know if you have any other questions. ~ Rick
I went with the factory harness (it's a 2-pc affair) and got 2 pair of wireless headphones and remote (i think you need to remote to even run the dvd. I connected them to an aftermarket Pyle 9.4 in screen (much bigger than the 7 in factory screen). Yeah, it's hard to get around that harness and it's darn expensive, which made me think, I'm not gonna spend this much on a cable, only to end it with a puny 7 inch screen. I haven't looked back, and I love my set up. Oh, if you have the sunroof, the job's a lot easier too (access). You will need to also remove the passenger side A-pillar trim, as well as the center cluster side panels to remove the DVD unit. :shades: -Jim
I have a 2005 Chrysler Pacifica with the in-dash 6 disc CD/DVD player with headphones. I purchased a y-splitter (red & white wires) to go from the ipod (iphone) to the RCA jacks and no audio is coming out. The CD or DVD plays, but I can't seem to find a mode button to select for the audio jack. i.e. dvd, cd. Can anyone help me? Thanks, Ashley
Been reading the forums but can't find information on why both of my brand new set of wireless headphones for my factory DVD system wont work. When I bought the car it had one set of headphones and they work. The two that I just got from my dealer power-on but the kids can't hear anything. There were no instructions in the box and no one seems to know why they don't work. They are a newer style, slightly smaller than the original set I got with the car. Also, is there somewhere that has helpful advise on how to operate the DVD/NAV/CD/STEREO system so that the kids can watch a movie and I can listen to a CD at the same time? I think NASA engineered the entertainment system, the book that came with the car is no help! CJ
I have a 2004 Pacifica and ran into a similar situation when I bought my car. I later discovered there are two models for that year of the Pacifica. I had originally been given the wrong ones, same thing you describe. They powered on but no signal. I finally went back to the delearship & got the correct model of wireless headphones for my Pacifica. Hope this info helps ya. )
And I agree on NASA designing the entertainment system! I can listen to something while my son watches a DVD with the wireless headphones but if I want to change the track on my cd or the station on the satellite radio, I hopelessly end up changing the chapter he is watching on his DVD. I am hopeful that someone out there can be of more help and answers your request with a source for more info. Best wishes CJ.

I was called the Dealer, they ask the 12 pin harness wiring for $300, it killed me
thank you very much
I bought a set of aftermartket video (Jensen VM9412 and a 16" Pyle LCD). The installer told me that they had to bypass the factor amplifer. However, after the amplifer was bypassed and Jensen replaced the factory CD, I found the sound quality was degraded (No bass). Not too much, but definitely degraded.
Questions:
Best regards,
Autorun
So, in other words, no, you do not have to bypass the stock amplifier. There is always a way.

Very appreciate your help
1. Yes, the new headunit equiped with built-in amplifier - "DVD/CD receiver with built-in MOSFET amp (15 watts RMS/40 watts peak x 4 channels)";
2. From the Jensen VM9412 manual, it mentioned this "4VRMS Line Output - All channels". I think it means line-output;
Questions:
1. Is the 2007 Pacifica factory amplifier accept line-input? I was told by the installer that the Pacifica's amplifier is so special. That's the reason they had to bypass the factory amplifer;
2. I see the VM9412 installation diagram shown a set of connections from the headunit to a power-amplifer. Are they the line-output?;
This is the manual.

The sound quality of this new setup is so bad when comparing to factory components, i.e. factory cd with factory amplifer.

Let me know if you want the wiring diagram Rick
1. Any chance you can send me the wiring guide? cheungwsj@hotmail.com
2. What many watt the factory amp can output?
3. Is there any way to connect the Jensen VM9412 to the factory amp? e.g. combine the left and right signal to 1 wire and connect it to the amp?
Again, thx qbrozen and 04pacman a lot. I like this kind of experience, i.e. learn a lesson from an issue.
Best regards,
James
James, it sounds to me like it would just be easier to buy an aftermarket amp.

From my understanding, the Pacifica's amplifier has only 2 inputs - 1 for left channel and 1 for right channel. That's all. The stereo input is then splited into center, left (front and rear) and right (front and rear).
Hi PacMan,
If you're still here, pls correct me if I'm wrong about the amplifier inputs.
Thx again
James
Your problem in the pac will be power. You'll have to run a wire from in the dash or under the hood right from the battery.
I know, I know, I'm master of the obvious, right? ;b

There was never a delay with switching on, nor did I have popping issues, but there was a delay with switching off. So after I shut the car off, the basslink would stay on for maybe a minute or so. Not a big deal, but it would actually produce feedback when I opened the trunk. It was very weird and I don't know the cause, but if I popped the trunk within a minute of shutting the car off, the basslink would emit a very loud humming noise.

i have an 05 touring FWD with 7 speaker 200 watt amp on...at leaset had till while ago.when i foulnd out that i could upgrade to intermezzo with just purchasing the 8 chanell amp,sub and sub housing which normally runs about $700 but i got mine from a junk yard for $150 now i have the intermezzo system which sounds way better than 7 speaker system.last week i purchased another 8 chanell amp from ebay for $45 to set my sister's touring pac with 8 chanell.
if you have the touring model there are lot you can upgrade on it.i did not have the auto headlight now i do,did not have the fog lights now i do.already had the rear entertaintment system so did not have to worry about that.tourings are pre wired to be upgraded so it makes it way easy.my next project will be the nav and either back up camera or the back up sensors.
cd/dvd player with 7" monitor.
All I do is flip down the monitor, set the source to the dvd player (which you've done if you can hear it), and play the dvd.
did you get the vehicle from a chrysler dealer?

The warranty is through a Hyundai dealer, so I have no idea what it will cover. If you just bought the car, I would think they would fix it for you if it is broken.

Thanks to anyone who can help!
