Hyundai Elantra maintenance
My 2011 Elantra sedan has 50K miles. I have followed the required maintenance schedule and have used my dealer for all maintenance work.
They are now telling me that I need to have an intake filter replaced and to have throttle body service.
I can find nothing in the required maintenance schedule about these items. Are they necessary or recommended at this time?

if you mean "air filter", that might be a reasonable thing to do--but they could easily show you the old filter first and you can decide how dirty it appears to be. As for 'throttle body service" that sounds like an upsell, and presuming your car runs fine, I'd pass on that.
Hyundai recommends 30,000 miles for an air filter, so check your records for past replacement.
