Will owner loyalty or lease incentives be changing in March? I'm looking at QX70 RWD 39 Months at 15k per year. The dealer offered $1000 owner loyalty, 55% residual and .00063 money factor yesterday but said they might change after the first.

what's the residual and MF for 10k and 12k respectively? and an amateur question, do MF typically vary that much from month to month (0.00043 in jan and 0.00014 in mar, almost 3 to 1)?

Add 2% to the residual to go from 15K to 12K. Add 3% to go from 15K to 10K.

Yes, the one money factor is 3 X the other one... but, both are pretty low numbers... sort of like the APR dropping from 0.9% to 0.3%... The difference is still only 0.6%... hardly consequential...

I'm looking into leasing the QX70. Out in Southern California where they like to really stick it to us!

A local dealer has quoted me a money factor of 0.00034 ... that seems insanely high... is MF something that can be negotiated? And if so, what kind of number should I try to ask for?

They are using a residual of 56% on a 39 month lease... which seams reasonable but I'd like a 2nd opinion on that too.

Acquisition Fee of $700 which I guess is the standard. Total cost of car including all fees, right now, is $54,663. The QX70 includes the Premium and Deluxe Touring packages.

Residual value is set by the finance institution and cannot be negotiated. MF can, and often is, marked up by the dealer. However, .00034 is equivalent to less than 1%, so not a bad rate.

What is the MSRP of the vehicle? And, what lease term and miles per year?

Will owner loyalty or lease incentives be changing in April? I have a deal pending on a QX70 RWD but I won't be signing until this weekend. The deal was setup on March 31st using March's numbers.

Here is the current deal:
QX70 RWD w/ premium, deluxe touring and technology
$57,560 MSRP - Although when I build it on Infiniti's site it's $58,380
$54,216 Purchase Price
54% Residual
.00014 Money Factor
$1000.00 Down + $1000 Owner Loyalty
$54,916.43 Gross Cap
$1,500 for 15,000 additional miles
$712.29 Base + $57.70 tax = $769.99 per month

I don't have the incentive information. Generally, though, you can't pick part of one month's program and part of another. If you used April incentives, then you'd have to use April's lease program.

April numbers for 36mo, 15K/yr are .00021 MF and 54% residual (53% for 39/15)

36/15 - 58% and .00118

24/15 - same MF as above but 65% residual

2014: .00003 MF and 55% residual for 36mo, 10K/yr.. Subtract 1% for 39 mo.

2015: .00067 MF and 56% residual.. Subtract 1% for 39 months.
