Can't find a 2015 Subaru Outback 3.6R Limited.

This is my first time buying a Subaru. We finally decided on the 2015 Outback 3.5R Limited but we can't find a dealer that has any in inventory. They have plenty of the 4 cylinders. We live in Oregon. Is this usual for Subaru? Any hints on how to find what we're looking for without being price-gouged?

    Checked for a Salem zip code and only see two in inventory. Guess it really is "limited". You can use the Make\Model\Year tabs up top to find cars in different zip codes. Then you can try a Price Promise certificate and see how those numbers look.

    my dealer (tucson) doesn't have any yet either. He'll call me (I'm sure) when he gets one in for me to test drive. The 2.5 is 'ok', but I have a feeling the 3.6 will put a smile on my face.

    I had an itch to get a Subaru & bought a 2.5 Premium (Nav, Power Gate & Moonroof) but wish I had waited the 1-2 months to get the 3.6 with Eyesight if ordered. Still love my first Subaru and maybe will trade up to the 3.6 in a few years.

    Wentworth Subaru says they have 4 "in transit".

    subaru is having a record year for forester and outback they are sold before they get on the truck i looked 200 miles around me for ice silver limited nun on the lots. i bought one from local dealer its not built but assigned to them so they can modify some aspects. not sure how that works should get before end of year and save the personal prop tax for my trade.
    my wife feels the outback has good pep on on ramps and speed we don't tow and have two tweens which will love the heated reclining seats

    my dealer just told me again, that whatever 3.6R's he gets, are sold almost immediately. I haven't gotten to see one. He offered me a Legacy 3.6. :) nope.

    I just received my 2015 6 cyl Outback on Jan. 2 after waiting 11 weeks. My dealer states that they had 5 other customers waiting for a 6 cylinder car. I live in upstate NY and it looks like the Outback fully loaded will set you back about $36k. Seems like a lot of money but the Outback 3.6 is very close in quality to a premium brand (Lexus, Acura). I love it so far!
