2003 LeSabre Ignition Module

I've had to replace the Ignition Module 5 times in the past 7 months. They suggested the coil pack was making it too hot after number 3, so I let em replace that. No joy, 2 ICM later. Of course, now they're not wanting to warranty any more failures, so my question is this: what could be causing the ICM to fail?

Were the failed Ignition Spark Control Modules all the same brand?

Is it the correct part number?
Look it up in this list:
    AIRTEX / WELLS Part # 2C7 $74.79

    STANDARD MOTOR PRODUCTS Part # LX364T T-Series $99.89

    UNITED IGNITION WIRE Part # DCM9607 106.79

    DELPHI Part # DS1004 $125.79

    STANDARD MOTOR PRODUCTS Part # LX364 $132.89

    AIRTEX / WELLS Part # 6H1045 $135.79

    ACDELCO Part # D1977A
    {#10494012, 12617924, 19245558} GM Original Equipment
    MODULE,IGN COIL $170.7

Is silicon dielectric grease needed where the ICM is screwed down to the engine
part to transfer heat? Is the engine part there clean of corrosion?

There are 3 coils on the car--they only replaced one?
