I have a 1988 ford ranger 4x4 manual tranny the repair man said was bad put a different one in it drove it half a day now it wont go into gear when trying to drive

You'd best get it back to the repair shop ASAP and work it out before too much time goes by. Might be a linkage issue or a clutch problem or even just clutch hydraulics, the latter not being a very big deal.

I'd want the mechanic to look at it first. If you mess with it, it'll be easier to blame you for it not shifting.

I called him he said there could be air in the line or master clyender was going to try to bleed myself but dont know how lloked at some utube just now he said we would have to pull tranny to bleed slave any ideas
