How do I test the axle sensor on my 2001 Montana

My compressor will run when using the aux air in the rear hatch driver side.But it will not run any other time to pump up or deflate my shocks which I have replaced.

Best way to test a switch like that is to disconnect it and test it with a continuity tester.
