My a/c actuator has malfunctioned for the second time in a couple months of it being replaced. Is there a bigger repair problem that I need to focus on?

Has anyone determined why the other one failed? Did it break internally, or fry electrically, or ??

In any event, if it was a genuine GM part, it should be under warranty for parts, and if the dealer installed it, maybe the labor, too.

I replaced the actuator myself. I heard a loud ticking noise come from the passenger side and replaced it.
