Has anyone found a fix for the Starting Disabled Service Throttle with the engine shutting down?
This started a couple of months ago when the tempture was 10, after several minutes is started
up and ran fine, now it's doing it randomly no matter what the tempture is, it might happen 5 or 6 times
a day or not at all but is very dangerous, I can't afford to spend money on fix's one after another,
please help!!

Sounds like it 'could be' throttle body thing, but,,,,,,,,,, there are other things that should be tested to confirm exactly where the issue is. No one single for sure fix I don't believe .5 -

The problem started when it was cold and is happening not matter the tempture. The engine just cuts off, off no warning, no noise or jercking and it says "Starting Disabled Service Throttle", and it's dead, after about 5 minutes it starts right back up, no problem starting at all, and no check engine light is on. I'll check the battery and connecters, seems like mechanics just want to replace different parts without checking connectors first!?5 -

OK, the typos in the title threw me (corrected those). Sounds like a problem with the electronic throttle control system. Now since it started happening in the cold, the battery might be delivering a bad voltage/current, but could be that the throttle control valve needs to be replaced. Like ray80 said, there could be a number of things causing it. Feels like it's going to take a mechanic doing some diagnostics to start to narrow down the possibilities5

We're still in colder weather and it could be as simple as a bad battery that doesn't quite have the cranking amps once the temp drops to a certain point, but a little clarification on exactly what's going on will help everyone who might have helpful suggestions
