2017 accord V6 Touring Transmission problem

I bought the 2017 V6 Touring accord late December 2016. Just this past Friday as I was driving, there was severe shifting issue and noise. The whole car shook and made a loud thud noise every time it would shift. Took into dealership and they were finally able to duplicate the issue. They came back and said per protocol (steps to be taken) they will be replacing the pressure switch. And if that do not resolve the issue they will replace the transmission. It's only been 4 months and 4400 miles - to replace the transmission! Unbelievable. Has anyone experience this ?? Did I get a lemon? I was so bummed something this big happened. Even if they replace the switch, does it mean that eventually my transmission is gonna go out?  Is it an early sign? Thanks in advance for any feedback.

You have five years and 60K miles of drivetrain coverage. I wouldn't sweat it. One failed part (even a major one) does not make your car a lemon. See what happens and let your warranty do it's job. It won't diminish the value of your vehicle.

Oh no. !! I only had mine for 2 months 200 miles and I think I'm having problems to. Crazy shifts and hard shifts. Mine even down shifted going down a long huge hill. I took it back to the dealership right after I got it and they said all the tourings change like that. But I have noticed it getting worse and the shifting going DOWN hill just happen today. I'm going to take it to a different dealer and see what they say. I have never been in a new vehicle that changes its gears so ruff and keeps up and down shifting all the time. I was thinking it was the software but now unsure after the first post.

17touringb and jcvb818 just wondering where you are located? I wonder if you are in the same general area of the country.
