windshield reflection

My new 2018 Q7 grayish dashboard reflects back on to windshield to varying degrees depending on sunlight and direction of travel--quite disappointing. Is this common and any way to eliminate or reduce the reflection?

    You could try one of these covers---not the prettiest things, but they solve the problem:

    Have you been using any kind of Armor-All or some other protectant that is by itself glossy? If so, that will aggravate the problem, not cure it.
