With the 2019 models out, I have been pricing existing 2017 and 2018 models, and just made a purchase.

    Final price after negotiating was $41,788 for a cash purchase of a 2018 MDX AWD with no additional packages or add-ons. From there, I asked for the current Acura Financial Services Flex financing $1500 discount incentive when financing for 24 to 36 months at 1.9% for qualified buyers. I financed a small portion ($7500) of the purchase for 24 months to get an effective price of $40,288 + financing charges.

    I found several dealers willing to get within $500 and $1000 of this pricing.

    This is my experience. YMMV.

    There are still some 2017 models out there on lots, which can likely be negotiated to a better price point, however, apple/Android car play was a must for me (not available on the 2017), and I had a preference for AWD, which were more difficult to find.

    There are still plenty of 2018 models available out there and pricing will likely get even better as we get closer to calendar year 2019.

    I had an immediate need to purchase, otherwise I would have held out until December.
