Just test drove a 2016 Sierra 1500 SLT crew, couldn't do tight turn on pavement in 4W high-Normal?
Its been a while since I've look at newer trucks, my current Sierra Denali is always on 4 wheel with no ability to switch modes. The vehicle I just test drove had multiple choices 2W, Auto, 4H, 4L
I did a slow speed test with a tight turning radius on dry pavement and it hopped and choked in all modes except 2W.
Dealer described as normal, I didn't like it. Can someone help me evaluate if I did something wrong? I'm sure not comfortable with only being able to make tight turns in 2W here in New England especially with the big $$$.

We don't have a Sierra, but we have a Tacoma with a similar system, and 4H makes it a bear to drive. You would never use it, except in fairly deep snow, or off road. (and, this is a 2017 model).
Reminds me of my old '95 Pathfinder.
If you really want AWD capability in normal circumstances, then that isn't the set-up that you want.
