I have an 04 with the 5.7 hemi. It died the other day while driving. I heard no fuel pump sound so I replaced it and now it won't stay running. It will start and stay running if I feather the pedal.  It threw the codes P0627 and P0645.

You might find this TUTORIAL relevant to your problem.

As you will read, code P0627 is a very generic and ambiguous code that requires a good deal of diagnostics. This could be a relay, a wiring problem, a connector problem, etc.

    Some common causes are:

Damaged, burnt, shorted, disconnected, or corroded wiring and/or connectors
Poor ground connections (including system grounds) in any circuit that is relevant to the operation of the fuel pump
    Defective fuel pump relay
    Defective fuel pressure sensor
Defective sensors and/or control modules in any circuit that is relevant to the operation of the fuel pump on return-less systems
Low system voltages caused by a defective battery, or other defects in the charging system
