2019 Mercedes-Benz A-Class Lease Quote

Hi there,
I just signed off my lease on a Mercedes A220 4 matic. Wonder if it is a good deal/reasonable?
MSRP $36,205 Zip: Los Angeles, CA
I got their prepaid maintenance package because the financial manager said that it is a must to do maintenance at one of their dealers and they will track VIN. He said if they found out I didn't do maintenance at one of their dealers, there will be charges at the end of the lease. Is that true? Thank you.

While maintenance is necessary when you lease, I don't think you have to use one of "their" dealers.
And, I don't think you'll spend $1999 on maintenance over 3 years.
On the other hand, it's all prepaid and all you'll be responsible for are wear items like tires and wiper blades.
Call the dealer and politely ask them if they will rewrite the contract without the maintenance.
If you've already taken delivery of the car, you may not have much recourse.

I think $1999 is their original price, they said they are giving me discount and all that blah blah blah.
My original monthly payment was $410, with maintenance package it goes up to $435. So I suppose the actual cost for the maintenance package is $1200? (I'm leasing 48 mos)
And do you mean that I can actually go to an independent body shop for maintenance? The financial manager was so insist that I cannot do so. If that's the case, can I still call MB financial service to get them cancel the maintenance package? I already signed off and got the car...
I've never leased an MB (I don't play in that price bracket), so I'm not familiar with what's mandatory regarding maintenance on them. Do you have to use the dealer you leased the car from? No - that's against the law.
Do you have to use any MB dealer? That I'm not 100% certain of.
I'd be leery of letting an independent shop do the maintenance on a new MB, but I'd also review the owners manual and have the dealer do only the required maintenance, and not anything beyond that.
As an example, I just performed the 30K service on my Outback. I had a quote from the dealer for over $600 in "services" they wanted to perform. After reviewing what the owners manual said, my bill was under $200 for the things that actually needed to get done.
