Too bad about the VIP and especially the Caprice, which was a very nice car and seems well-equipped. Either or both may be too far gone at this point though its hard to tell.
The Crown Vic and the FWD Century seem like bargains.
$12K for a '91 F-150 that doesn't run seems like a lot unless all it needs is a battery. In that case it still sounds like a lot.
@bhill2 The '57 Rebel was a single model HT 4-door ( sedan). However, Rambler did turn out a HT wagon in the Ambassador line for '58-'60. Forgot about those Ambassador wagons. I found a 57 Rambler brochure and although the Rebel was not a wagon version, they did offer their wagons in pillared or hardtop versions. The reason I recalled that was a neighbor growing up had a red one with a hula dancer doll on the dash and in the 50's in Chicago, America was all about California (and by extension Hawaii)
Unexciting color, but nice interior, quite rare 2nd to highest model with fun complex suspension and engine, condition looks excellent as these are often left to decay, lots of paperwork, sunroof and AC make it a treat with a little TLC. This might be a case where it is good I re-upped my lease, and now can't justify the expense (especially for storage).
Any guesses as to what you think the final price will be on that beauty?
I hope that Duster comes with a gallon of 'Goo Gone' to remove all those stickers. Makes me wonder about how well the mods were done. And why move the battery to the trunk? Not like we're dealing with Porsche handling here...
With a drag car, you want to get more weight behind the wheels to help it launch better.
Usually estate sales are where you go to get good deals. Not this one. "Take it as it sits, and it's been sitting a while." "Oh, and $12K, about 2x market; it's a steal of a deal!" Hahahah

Here is Houston mini vans are the choice of taxi owners/companies. They are either Dodge or Toyota nothing else. Whenever I ride in a taxi I like to ask the driver about their experience with the mini van, how many miles, engine /transmission failure ...etc. Since many of the drivers own more than one cab I'll ask them to compare the Dodge vs the Toyota. According to the all to the drivers the Dodge is not as reliable as the Toyota Sienna but the Sienna is more expensive to repair. The last taxi I rode in a couple of weeks ago was a Dodge with 378k miles on it's second engine and transmission. I though that was impressive and a possible candidate for a future purchase. That left the question why not Honda, Nissan, Kia/Huyndai. Any opinions?
You laugh, but it's a thing, at least in coastal cities. You'll see it on the propagandistic housing-themed TV shows, too - a couple looking for their first house - he's an artisinal dog walker who also works at his friend's food truck, she's a children's book illustrator who's had nothing published. They are searching for a starter home in the mid 800s.

Not much available from Nissan or Kia/hyundai, and Hondas are known for fragile transmissions.

I continue to transform my old Econoline. As you recall, we put the disc brakes on it earlier in the year (which are fabulous, by the way), H4 headlights that have 7" round housings, new tires, etc. Recently, I followed that up with a new air cleaner that disposes of the old, massively restrictive, unit. And, we also replaced the battery tray, which was horridly rusted, along with the negative battery terminal and part of the cable (high resistance values due to oxidation). We also put new front shocks on it over the weekend.
Un. Be. Lievable! The air cleaner unit allows so much better breathing. I imagine we are getting an extra 50 horses out of that old beast! It moves much better now. So. Much. Better. And, then, the new shocks. I didn't think the old ones were bad, at least not in the classic sense, but with the new ones it is just like butter. The suspension on this van embarrasses much newer cars.
My son also rewired much of the interior of the van, primarily the stereo system that is in there. That kid is a fine electrician, and the wiring he did in there is far better than the factory stuff!
He is on his way toward proficiency in terms of piloting it down the road. He still has work to do on the technical challenges of maneuvering it, but we'll get there. His comfort level is going way up. He even drove it into town today with his mother.... and she won't even ride in it with me! In fact, this is the first time she has EVER ridden in the van except perhaps to move it around our driveway. Ever. I'm shocked. She said he did a great job and she was not worried at all (major statement coming from a very protective mother who has not ridden in a vehicle with her son driving, and was riding in a vehicle that she loathes/fears)!
Impressive start to the week.

The Roadrunner ad should say "Needs EVERYTHING" instead of "RESTORATION".
That '68 Chrysler convertible strikes me as a bit of a bargain. It needs some help and much depends on a thorough inspection, but a convertible in those colors would surely be worth as much as the similar '63 Olds if tarted up a bit.
That poor unfortunate Caprice. The only potential buyers are those of the same mindset that committed that crime in the first place.
I like the little Rambler aside from the unfortunate choice of new upholstery material and sewing pattern. You can see from the rear seat side panels what the original color would have been.
The RAV4 needs to be crushed like a bug. I hated that version.
That Mustang - if it's as rust free as it looks, that's one of the nicer ones I've seen, not messed with, in great shape, apparently well cared for. Fiat - odd paint = tiny market, good luck getting anything near $25k.
Worth every penny I think. Perfect colors and "provenance" in addition to what looks like lovely original condition. Throw away the catalog air cleaner.
Looks like it is owned by an Olds aficionado, note the '78 Delta 88 in the background. A huge car but very nice to drive if kept up as this one appears to be.
The Marti report parses equipment down to a ridiculous level just so sellers (or owners) can claim "1 of 1".
That generation LeSabre was from GM's "sea of gray (or neutral)" era, and the rounded bar-of-soap styling did it no favors either. Good beater as @tjc78 says, until the intake manifold gaskets bite you.
Convertibles seldom do well in junkyards. The pricing for those seems absurd.
The Jaguar's seller seems to be distancing himself from the tastes of the previous owner with the comment that the tires can be remounted with the whitewalls facing in.
GMC van looks interesting. Too bad the owner couldn't take a decent picture of it. There must have been an earthquake while he was trying to snap those shots. /sigh

Is the guy listing that Mach 1 actually in the sphere of rationality? I genuinely don't know, but I have trouble believing that the best one in the world would command that price. If it were a mint Boss 429 I might be able to swallow the price (although I would still want to check) but not a 428 Mach 1.

I do like the car, good colors and highly optioned with the V8.
My mom had a 96. Pacific green over beige cloth. Pretty equipped, but had the turd 3.8. If it was a V8 I probably would have bought from them and kept it around. I really liked that car, otherwise.
From a fb fintail group I believe is closed, this powder blue 1962 220S
This is the dual carb model, 4 on the tree, dealer installed AC which I suspect is inop, only a tiny bit of rust as typical for a west coast car. Side molding is also dealer installed I believe. Is said to run and drive, asking $6500 (and I suspect would take less), which is about all these bring in this condition. It'd bring 10K or more across the pond.

Um, no. It's just a plain old AOD.
Problem with the 90/91 Panthers is the odometer gears strip out and you really have no idea how many miles are on them.
