Also, does the Bedrug provide for a 2x4 or 2x6 in the rug impressions? Is it under the rail 100%? What is the attachment method? Any help would be appreciated!
I am only as sure as the BOB.
Have you ever had 4 feet of snow in the bed of your truck? where do you think the water goes when it melts? Those are water-drain holes and should NOT be plugged permininently.
Can you tell me what a bed rug goes for for a QC? Is there a way to get one for less than the $400.00 I have seen advertised?
Is this thing as duradle as they say and have you used one yourself?
P.S. what are we supposed to believe when they devote the majority of their print to vehicles that people who don't own software companies can only fantasize about?
BTW, slickwilliedj, how the heck did you ever get Augustus Gloob out of the pipes at your factory??

After a recycle of the headlight switch, the headlights turned off.
This has happened two times so far.
Has this happened to anyone else?
I will keep an eye out to see if this is what happened to me.
The rear end wine - I have a slight wine under the same conditions. I'm use to it, and I kind of like it now. It is another audio sensor on how the truck is responding. My 2 1/2 cents worth.
I was pulling into my garage after a long night shift, and the flaired back left fender scrapped the side of the entrance to my garage!
The fender now has a white paint streak all along it. I tried using some clear coat paint remover, but it didnt do much!
I guess my options are to buy and replace the fender myself? Anyone know any products that might help? Thanks!!

the aftermarket exhaust companies (all through word
of mouth and web searches).
My Opininion:
Best "bang-for-your buck" is the Gibson Side Swept cat back.
I have it on my truck, and the difference between it and the stock
exhaust interior sound was basically negligable.
(But outside it sounds great)
I also now have Quick-D intake and Bosch 4417s.
I don't expect to put my truck on a dyno anytime soon, but I
can definately say that it now has MUCH MORE OOMPH than stock . .
If you want a plethora of information on Dakotas and Mods, go to
the Dakota Mailing List (DML) archives:
http://www.dakota-truck.net/archives.htm
DML also has a huge amount of information on Jet Chips . . .
it appears to me that the consensus is that they are great for the
5.2 & 5.9, but that you shouldn't waste your money on it for the 4.7.

check on my Dakota order which was placed on 1/22/01. The guy said it was in a Gateline status and the shipping date was the 9th...TOMORROW?? I didnt think a vehicle could
be built and shipped in a day. I was calling from work so I didnt question him further.
What exactly is a gateline status??
Thanks

BTW - thanks to everyone who filled me in on how to get the FB discount. It was just $20 to join.
and some traffic, but no heavy traffic such as city driving. I think that you will be pleased with a Dakota, but then it must meet your specifications, and I don't know what they are.

When finished, cover the spot with a good carnuba wax (for clearcoat).
Hope this helps

I don't think the emergency lightbar is causeing that much drag. check it out:

That is exactly what happened.
The headlights stay on if ignition is turned off before headlights are.
I searched the owners manual for this information but did not see it.
Is this info in the owners manual?
My commute to work is 13 miles one way.
Mostly back roads, various speed limits, and about 2 miles of highway.
I average about 16 MPG.
See my profile for truck configuration.
Are you getting 4x2 or 4x4?
