Can you Trade-In your car as is with problems?

Does anyone know if you can trade-in your car As-Is with known issues. Or will the dealer you purchase from will deny it as trade-in value? I have a 2013 Chevy Traverse that has a ton of issues and im trying to determine if its worth spending another couple of thousand to fix and then trade for a new car. Not sure what other options i have.

    You can, but it will fetch a lower value than if the car were to be running properly.
