Thanks for the values of these moosemobiles......hubby about had a heart attack at his truck's depreciation. Needless to say the Dodge is goin' bye bye and he's getting an older truck that we can pay cash for. Thanks for saving my Jeep.....which continues to be perfect.
How's life treating you?? Things are nuts here, long story.
Just wanted to get your thoughts. I have an '01 Yukon XL 4WD SLT with 22,700 miles. Equipped with autoride, second row captain seats, trailering pkg., running boards. Vehicle is in pristine condition. Here's my question: A job change and a longer commute has me wanting to get into a Nissan Altima. Should I try to work a trade or do I really just need to sell it outright first, then buy the Altima. Thanks in advance for your input. Located in Ohio.
These things are extremely popular and pull big money.. it's a 4WD, quads, (no slider.?) it has ALL the right stuff.
I won't be up that way for another week or so .. but I do know, the dealers up there are "warming up" for the "cold" season .. Converts are going bye bye - and the real deal vehicles are coming into play.
At the block, they are doing in the $28/$29 area for the "ultra cleans" with 20k .. so on the retail side, be lookin' at $32,9 "asking" - and $31,5/$32,5 should send it down the road.
I am currently looking at a 1998 Lincoln Navigator 4x4 with 90,000 miles. The private party has listed it for $17,500. The car is black with tan leather and almost fully loaded (running boards, rear A/C, 6 disc changer, 17 inch chrome wheels, etc... but no moonroof or navigation system). While doing some research over the internet, these are some values that I have found:
Kelley Blue Book -- $14,975 trade in $23,555 retail
NADA -- $18,000 trade in $20,975 retail
Edmunds TMV -- $18,600 trade in $23,000 retail
All the above values were calculated the same way (i.e. 90,000 miles, specific options, excellent condition).
I was wondering if you might be able to shed some light on why there is as much as $3,000 difference between the various appraisal services? And which source in your opinion is closest to actual market value?
I am in the process of purchasing a new car. I'll be finalizing the deal this weekend with a car dealership in Conneticut. I am thinking about trading in my 1994 Nissan Altima GXE. It has 102K miles. It is in excellent mechanical condition, but it has some cosmetic defects. The clear coat is chipping off of the hood (about 1 sq foot). There is also a dent the size of a softball in the rear bumper. I've looked up the Kelly Blue Book trade in value, but I'm looking for additional input or advise. I know the cosmetic defects will lessen the car value. What do you think the trade in value might be? Any help would be appreciated.
OK...Terry...give me low down on a 1999 Infiniti QX4, 29K miles, slider, 4WD, v6, auto, all the goodies but no navi, in beautiful "Retirement Gold". The wife wants a su-vee so here we are. What do you think I could get this one for?
It is at one of those "luxury import" car lots in Baton Rouge, not the Infiniti dealer. If we can work a deal I will drive over from New Orleans. What do you think they paid at the auction?
Those SPGs are worth some cash, *to the right person*. 'Saab people' fall all over themselves for them, in good condition, well-maintained. Now, the average (or even above average) used car buyer sees an '88 Saab with 155k and the $5500 price and just laughs. That said, he's not going to get $5500 for it sitting on the street in a million years. If he puts it on Saabnet.com, or some other Saab site, it could happen. I've had one too many Saabs and wouldn't touch the thing. My motto on Saabs: get the cheapest, decent example you can find, because its gonna cost you to maintain it and you're not getting that money back, ever.
...when the SPG first came out, it was one of the fastest cars around (1985). We have to remember that 160hp in a 2800lb car was impressive back then, now it doesn't seem like such a big deal. I'd rather have something newer, more reliable and a bit slower at this point, considering what it costs to keep an old Saab on the road.
Back to our topic: Terry, my friend with the 27k mile 95 Integra, was just in an accident, t-boned, with about $4500 in damage. Luckily she wasn't hurt (she's 4'11" and weighs about a hundred!). It's in the shop now. How much of a hit in resale is this likely to take? I'm guessing she'll trade it in on a Civic or Corolla sedan when it gets out of the shop, or shortly thereafter. Specifics:
95 Acura Integra LS/SE hatch, automatic hunter green/tan leather ABS, factory cassette, power roof & alloys PW/PL, cold a/c was a 'baby doll' before the accident
Guess we'll have to see the work once it's finished.
I think I have "noticed" like 2, in the last 15/18 months ..
The most I ever saw one do, was like .. uuuhh, $1,5 at the Atlanta auction, had like like 98k on it, those things were just born ugly .. and it just went down hill from there - .l.o.l...
I am interested in trading/selling my 2002 Toyota Highlander that I purchased last November. The used car guides have yet to post values for 2002 vehicles so I was wondering how best to calculate depreciation? This vehicle still seems to be in high demand and short supply in my area. Vehicle details are as follows: Mileage: 9,500 miles V6 engine, 4X4 Options (Non-Limited model) AG- Appearance Pkg (alloy wheels, privacy glass) CQ- Convenience Pkg (keyless entry, tonneau cover) HE- Preferred Pkg (Power driver's seat, Engine Immobillizer, HomeLink transceiver) TO- Tow Prep Pkg SR- Moonroof GN- Cargo Net DR- Luggage Rack EH- Heated Side Mirrors BE- Side Air Bags RF- Spoiler 2F- Fender Flares 9B- Cargo Mat 2Q- Floor Mats, All-weather HP- Hood Protector
Any trade or private sale values you could suggest would be appreciated.
Hey Terry, Just wanted to give you a thanks, for the info on the 00 Ford Focus SE. You were right (and hubby) sis finally got $8,000 for her car, (dealer wanted to give her $7,000) and bought a new Suby, just like my other sisters, same color, same options (this is one boring family) except hers has a sunroof.
This should be very interesting this weekend, with the holiday and all .. a few drinks and everyone will be trying to get into the wrong vehicle ..l.o.l...
Sounds like a real nice one, these Highlanders are starting to grow on me ..
This one seems to have it all, V6, 4X4, side bags, slider, tow pack, spoiler, alloys and seat, plus it has Nooo miles. This should do the ultra high $26's on a trade.
I gotta think with the options the original sticker was around $31 and change .. so going down Retail Rd, $29,900 in the paper and $28,5/$29,5 should get someones attention ...
This will look just super, parked by Jackson Square .. the miles are right for a 99, so if it's "stand tall" .. knee deep, looks and runs like a 01 and needs -0- .. then they paid in and the $17's (99, right.. not a 99.5.?) .. so figure by the time they got it home, they got at least $18 and some change in it ...
Let me start by saying "thanks" in advance for taking the time to provide your advice -- it really is valuable & appreciated.
Anyways, my wife wants to trade in her Jetta for a Toyota, and we're wondering what the trade-in value would be for the car.
2000 Jetta GLS VR6 33,000 miles Non-smoker owner Garaged from the beginning Interior is immaculate Exterior is "clean" per Edmunds terminology (2 4" scratches on trunk) Auto tranny, Premium sound system, 6-disc CD changer, power moonroof
I'd like to try to sell the car, she'd rather trade in and be done with it. Your advice would be very helpful in determining which way to go.
Also, tires (obviously) have 33k on them... should I expect the dealer to point that out as a reason to go down from what Edmunds says? I always kind of figured that was kind of "built in" to the depreciation at this point in the car's life.
I know that the Pathy has a 99.5 distinction but I have never seen a QX4 listed as a 99.5. So, I am not sure...It could be the later version. I thought the miles were VERY good (<10K/yr) and we shall see if it is "tight" or not.
The used luxo-import dealer is asking 21,990 but if you are sayin that he has 18K in it then I think somewhere between 19-19.5 might be more reasonable. It don't know how long its been sittin there.
I may trade my wife's 1993.5 Infiniti G20, light green, leather, slider, 2 bags, remote, 100K mi, bad scrape on the front bumper, smoker,....I figure I will do well to get 2-2.5K out of it.
Lincoln has done a great job in the SUV dept, people love em' and they sell well with 2,000 miles or 102,000 miles .. I buy a lot of these, probably 50/60 a year at the auctions, so I watch them closely.
If this dude is knee deep, ultra nice, interior is lookin' like a 01 and it's "jam-up" all the way around -- then $17,5, is More than fair on the asking side. If it's a real nice one .. it would do an Easy $16 and change at the auctions, could break out over the $17 figure if it's a "baby doll", and thats a wholesale figure ..l.o.l. This "sounds" like a great deal.
Now the other questions ...
KBB is the least accurate .. some dealers use them to keep the "Retail" figures pumped up, as a rule they are Off by 10/12%++ depending on the vehicle and the time of year .. can't say much about the wholesale numbers except, they are waaay off. Nobody uses KBB, unless you are Darth Vader ..
Edmunds try their best, it's just waaay too tuff, to keep up with market on a minute to minute basis, but I will hafta say, they are accurate with all the new vehicles .. I think, we have even got them to "Splain" the Ad fee's that makes it a whole lot easier for new car buyer, not to lose their mind or money.. l.o.l...
NADA is probably the closest around the block .. but even so, it's tuff for them to know geographic area's .. what's hot, what's not -- But they "seem" to be closest as a good "reference" point, especially on the retail asking side.
Not trying to knock any of these .. but, you have to remember, it's information that has to be watched all the time. Just because someone is a Car dealer, doesn't make them a authority either. I get calls from dealers all the time, from all over the place. Hey, I'm a Buick dealer, whats a 99 VW GLS TDI worth with 21k .. or hey I'm a Dodge dealer whats an A6 Audi worth, hey I'm a Honda dealer whats a 8k 01 Sable LS worth, etc, etc, etc. ... You get the picture.
I see and meet probably 50/60 different dealers a month (there can be 5/6/700 buyers at a big auction) from all over the place, some go to auctions once a year, some go once a month, some go 4/5 times a month .. the ones that are going a bunch every month, as a rule, these guys know whats going on .. but, they are few and far between.
See, just looking at auction reports, really doesn't tell you a whole lot .. it tells you what particular vehicles were doing last week or last month, but unless you are there to feel, touch and smell em', you can't tell what they "really" looked like.
I hope this helps .. it sure wore me out .l.o.l....
..... These are hot little vehicles .. I bought a white pearl with tan guts, for my nephew about 10 months ago ..
Tires ..? sure, that's their -Yob Mon- .. they are gonna point out everything .. but these little "pocket rockets" are in demand, V6, auto and aaalll the stuff.
The hold back here is, the miles are a little stiff .. it should do $13ish on a trade.
I want to trade in my 1997 Olds Silhouette van, but I'm not sure if I'm being ripped off. The van has 64,000 miles, I'm the only owneer, the van has been kept in impecable condition, just had it's 60,000 maintenance, new rotors, new brakes, front and back. Never been wrecked or any other damage, i.e., water. Loaded with all the power stuff, towing package, mag wheels. Beige on beige. They want to give me $5,000 because the market is so down on Oldsmobiles. I think it's worth at least $7,000. What do you think?
Okay, dont laugh...I have 2 many MINIs and I might trade in my FULLY LOADED 2002 Cooper (Premium, Sports, Cold Wthr, GPS, etc.) for a Chevy Suburban or YukonXL. Dont even ask why! How can I estimate the value? Help me before I have to use them for bookends? I have tried privately selling, and I am tired of giving test drives all day! Another question; why are people lined up at the MINI dealership to pay $6,000 more for the same car as mine (only 2 mos. old)? Don't most people want to save money?
...I'm betting the dealers will not give test drives on Minis, so yours is 'ripe for the asking'. At least attempt to 'pre-qualify' your potential buyers. Ask some questions, ask if they'd looked at a new one, what they do, etc. I mean, people can lie obviously, but it doesn't hurt.
Why don't you try to trade it in, since they're super hot (dealer is somewhat at your mercy with these cars)? I'm sure ANY dealer would be happy to have one. Selling on your own is best for older, non-desirable otherwise distressed merchandise. The Mini doesn't qualify.
Thank you for your response on Edmunds ...I appreciate any advice or help, I am asking $23,500 and paid over $29K to drive off the lot in June So what is the problem??? Why do people buy from dealers instead of saving money? At the GMC and Chevy dealerships (for trade-in) they said "We calculate price of MINI by calling MINI dealers and ask them what they will buy the car for". So the MINI dealers told them between $16K and $18K ... is that crazy?, or am I just way off... the base sticker is $26.5K ... seriously, who is crazy here?...I am the one with Too MANY MINIs! Here is my usual sell/blurb; LOADED MINI COOPER, with only 2700 properly broken-in miles SILVER W/SILVER ROOF & Blk Mirrors, SUNROOF GPS Navigation System, Combos 1/Premium 2/Sport & 3/Cold Weather. Panther Black Profile Leather Int, Sport Suspension Plus, Chrome Line Ext, AM/FM/CD w/6 CD Changer Tinted Rear Windows Auto AC, Power Locks, etc. Leather Steering Wheel w/Cruise and Audio Controls, Onboard Computer, Heated Seats/Mirrors/Washer-Jets, Dynamic Stability Control, Sport Seats, Rear Spoiler, 16" Alloy Wheels, 195/55R Run-flat tires AND EXTENDED WARRANTY. MUST SELL!
have a nice day Too Many MINIs in Two Months Makes for Motoring Madness!
It's a nice one, right color, right options .... the whole " Como Se' Yama" and the bag of chips.
Plus -- you have it priced RIGHT .. (even a little on cheap side) .. I agree with the "G" man, you need to "qualify" the folks a little better .. ask them straight up.! - "are you familiar with a Mini ..?" Kinda keep in mind, alot of folks are reeeaally not.
When the Miata's first busted out .. we had folks wondering through the showrooms lookin' for this $13,0 Convert, perhaps instead of a Sunbird/Cav/LeBaron Convert (yeah right) ..l..o..l... little did they know, they were going for about $10 grand more than that .. and we had orders from Boston to S.Fran.
Dealers can't by this little dudes for less than $18,0, unless they are a base Base. Yours would do at least $20 at the block - and the dealer would have it up for Sale for $24/$25 ..
These will sell .. I wouldn't even worry, it may take more than a day -- but you should see at least $22/$23 on a real quick sale ... I hope you are using the largest paper in your area.
You gotta let us know .. you have our attention, or at least mine. ..l.o.l...
1988 Audi 90 quattro Sedan. At a garage sale (don't ask...) 121k miles, gold, good body- galvanized, of course -- good tires, 5sp (yay!), sunroof, leather, locking rr diff, the works. It looks "OK"; the interior needs a cleaning, but there's also a baseball-size rip in the side bolster of the driver seat, and the exhaust looks like it's coming undone very soon. The car's been sitting for 3 years in a garage, being driven by the son when he comes home to visit... now they want to sell it. Engine starts up okay, the typical valve clatter but not much... exhaust is clean (no soot or oily residue), like all VW/Audis I've seen. No evidence of oil in the coolant or coolant in the oil. Tires are good, on nice alloys. No drips, but slight leaks/seapage around the head gasket and the steering rack. Dunno if the AC works, let's assume it does. They're "asking" $2,200 but are beginning to see the error of their ways... this is in a wealthy new subdivision where the houses are big square empty boxes, everyone has 3 garages and keeps the doors open so the neighbors can see the benz/lexus/whatever... I'd sooner live in a trailer park, I think. Anyways, I'm talking to an old buddy of mine who's an Audi nut; he may agree to work on it for me for an hourly rate; otherwise forget it... the driveline on the quattro has ten (10) cv joints and a center bearing, and they DO need fixing.. but theyre' magic in the snow... So someone slap me silly and talk me out of it.... I have a feeling they'll take $1k or less.... -Mathias East Lansing, MI
Wow! I was shocked to see those numbers. This is a $17K car BASE MSRP. I didn't think that car could get up so high. So we're talking $12K in options!? I think that's the problem, personally. You've made it a very specific car (and expensive) with all those options. That's going to make finding a buyer quite a bit tougher and, like Terry said, will take longer to sell.
Just wanted to share my thoughts. Good luck.

I live in the Atlanta area and I am interested in purchasing a 2002 Tacom 4x2 automated. It is a demo model with 5000 miles. the price is $14031. I need to know how much I should pay for this truck. Thanks

See what I mean ... ? ..hehehehe
that's why you have too qualify the folks before they come over .. l.o.l..
If they have been out lookin', feelin' and touchin' .. then they know what these Hot little dudes are All about -
Let them look at a few at $25/$26+ and I'm sure they will have a "come to Jesus' meeting, and come over will a real deal offer ...
..... Hey .! .. Sooooo, you are lookin' for a nice trailer park to move into ..huh.?
I gotta few outside of Sanford .. Hey, you will hardly notice those Hurricanes when they roll by ... :-)))
The Audi sounds like it could be a winner .. clean it up, get some ice blowing from the vents, make sure the Quattro is all there -- and Wango Tango, it could do an easy $2,0 at any auction ...
okay, worked up a dealie where I got to take that puppy home to the drive way and got her up on stilts... this is a text book example of when to call it quits... I mean, you look at a 15-yr-old car and you just think, wow, no major leaks, it runs fine, clutch okay, good rubber, what's not to like? Earth to mathias: It's all rusted underneath, the exhaust heat shields are all gone and as soon as one piece falls off, you're in trouble; no guarantee that the cat. conv. is gonna come off clean; new exh manifold on an old MI car, anyone? air blows warm, engine has a very atypical shake at idle (5cyl), parking brake frozen up, shocks need to be replaced -- it rides like a '95 caprice. A pillar covering came undone, duct tape fixed it back up -- niiiiice in a near-lux sedan. So I add up what it takes to make it NICE again, and it's very doable, but you're looking at $2k easy, IF you know someone who can do the work. not worth it. so it's a beater, worth maybe $500 to me, because it has to be ditched or parted out when the next big thing happens... not me, not now, thank you very much. what bites is that the driveline seems fairly tight, cv joint protectors not ripped, locking rr diff works, center diff is torsen, this would be sooo much fun... but it's exit stage right. I left the people my notes in the car, they can decide what to do... i'd donate it and take the deduction... cool car, though.. There's a lesson in here, for those of us interested in old cars... concentrate on what the car needs, not all the stuff that still works. Chagrined, I remain, -Mathias
i am looking for fair trade -in value of 95 windstar lx 3.8 engine,100000 miles, all options including 10 discs cd changer, electronic gauges and mirror(no traction and leather).Thanks.
I had a friend who had an '88 Audi 80 (which has the more simple and reliable 4-cylinder and no Quattro). I think he paid like $4k for it about six years ago and put $4k in repairs into it the first year he had it, after which he could no longer afford to fix it. He sold it with a bad radiator for $800. Sounds a bit like the Saab 900 I just dumped. The cars are virtually worthless even when fixed, and repairs, parts and labor are frequent and expensive, basically creating a no-win situation. There are better beaters, and with the potential expenditures, you could have a newer car.
i am currently looking to buy a second car and was interested in a 2001 hyundai elantra. now according to allot of people on these boards the resale value on these is nill.
so this sparked my interest, why not buy a 2001 for the same price as a new rio or accent, but the thing is the dealers who have them want close to new prices (or more) where i live (Detroit michigan) so my question is where do you locate these low priced hyundas with poor resale value??
Just moved from Dallas to Rochester, NY (job reasons only!). Company gave me car, so wife assumed control of my 2001 Tahoe LS. She does not like, and wants a minivan. Tahoe specs are 22,600 mi, 2wd w/locking rear, ec, and all other bells/whistles, very clean. TVM/Kelly peg avg trade-in at the $25,000 range per this region, which is also close to my payoff.
Been to two dealers so far (who have Chevy sister dealerships) and am getting a trade-in figure of no more than $20,000. Was told that's all these are fetching at auction... Nuts to them.
Is this a regional (small market) problem? Would I be better off driving back to Dallas and cutting a deal? Is Kelly/TVM that far off the mark? Are the rebate factor/low APR deals killing me?
I'll concur with lancerfixer. Although it's only, September people here in the Northeast are starting to think snow and a 2WD Tahoe is not what you want to be driving regularly in Rochester in the winter.
The experts will be along shortly to give you the real deal.

Mileage is 56,000 -
Color is white.
Interior and exterior are in great shape, no dings, tears.
Fields BMW offered $8,000 for a trade, which I am hoping is low.
Also curious, would this car fetch a few thousand dollars in either Philadelphia or the Chicago markets? I have business up there, it may be worth it to drive in lieu of flying to get a better value on my trade.
Thanks for any input or help that can be provided.
We live in Madison, WI and are interested in getting a Toyota Sequoia. We are trying to sell- or preferably trade-in a 1998 Ford Expedition XLT 4X4, Blue, 5.4L, 66,000 miles, Cloth, no third seat, alloys, 12 disc CD, cassette, rear AC/Heat, Tow package, running boards, roof rack, privacy glass, mint condition. The trade offers seem to hover around $12,000, and this seems silly low for this much vehicle in this good of shape. The absence of a third seat seems to keep popping up, but this is still a lot of vehicle for $15,000, which is what we want out of it. Any thoughts or tips from the pros on the best way to get a fair value for this enroute to our $40K Sequoia purchase???
My 1997 Villager LS has 113,000 miles, loaded with every available option, has never had a problem, maintained by the great service people at my dealership every 5000 miles like clockwork. Outstanding condition in all respects. I'm buying a GMC Envoy. What can I expect for my trade-in?

I would have paid that much just to keep in the garage and sit in (sort of like a den). Geez, you can spend more than that on a sofa.

Kelley Blue Book --
$14,975 trade in
$23,555 retail
NADA --
$18,000 trade in
$20,975 retail
Edmunds TMV --
$18,600 trade in
$23,000 retail
All the above values were calculated the same way (i.e. 90,000 miles, specific options, excellent condition).
I was wondering if you might be able to shed some light on why there is as much as $3,000 difference between the various appraisal services? And which source in your opinion is closest to actual market value?
With kindest regards,
Adnan
It is at one of those "luxury import" car lots in Baton Rouge, not the Infiniti dealer. If we can work a deal I will drive over from New Orleans. What do you think they paid at the auction?
Mucho thanks....
I didn't really care for it and didn't think it was all that fast/high performance.
Nice car, but didn't seem so hot. This particular example appears to have aged well.

Happy hunting ...
Terry.
Terry.
Let me start by saying "thanks" in advance for taking the time to provide your advice -- it really is valuable & appreciated.
Anyways, my wife wants to trade in her Jetta for a Toyota, and we're wondering what the trade-in value would be for the car.
2000 Jetta GLS VR6
33,000 miles
Non-smoker owner
Garaged from the beginning
Interior is immaculate
Exterior is "clean" per Edmunds terminology (2 4" scratches on trunk)
Auto tranny, Premium sound system, 6-disc CD changer, power moonroof
I'd like to try to sell the car, she'd rather trade in and be done with it. Your advice would be very helpful in determining which way to go.
Also, tires (obviously) have 33k on them... should I expect the dealer to point that out as a reason to go down from what Edmunds says? I always kind of figured that was kind of "built in" to the depreciation at this point in the car's life.
THANKS again.
Thoughts?
Let me address the Nav first ..
Terry.
And you are about right on the G mo beal ..
Terry ;-)
OR
Stick ......?
Terry.
On a trade, high 12's, low $13's .. asking $14,900 on the retail side, yep. . you are dead on.
Terry.
Tires ..? sure, that's their -Yob Mon- .. they are gonna point out everything .. but these little "pocket rockets" are in demand, V6, auto and aaalll the stuff.
The hold back here is, the miles are a little stiff .. it should do $13ish on a trade.
Let us know ...
Terry.
That Navigator seems like a great buy. Now if I could just convince the wifey to sell her Odyssey ...

Why don't you try to trade it in, since they're super hot (dealer is somewhat at your mercy with these cars)? I'm sure ANY dealer would be happy to have one. Selling on your own is best for older, non-desirable otherwise distressed merchandise. The Mini doesn't qualify.
2 Mini's in 2 months .. Wow ..!
No "S" right ..?
Colors .....?
Miles ..........?
Auto ..................?
What kinda of price do you have them listed for ..?
Terry.
Sounds nice, but I need some more info ...
Is this a 3Dr ..?
OR ..
GL ..?
OR
GLS ..?
slider .. leather ..............?
Hey, I need some help here .!
Terry.
I am asking $23,500 and paid over $29K to drive off the lot in June
So what is the problem???
Why do people buy from dealers instead of saving money?
At the GMC and Chevy dealerships (for trade-in) they said "We calculate price of MINI by calling MINI dealers and ask them what they will buy the car for".
So the MINI dealers told them between $16K and $18K
... is that crazy?, or am I just way off... the base sticker is $26.5K
... seriously, who is crazy here?...I am the one with Too MANY MINIs!
Here is my usual sell/blurb;
LOADED MINI COOPER,
with only 2700 properly broken-in miles
SILVER W/SILVER ROOF & Blk Mirrors,
SUNROOF
GPS Navigation System,
Combos 1/Premium 2/Sport & 3/Cold Weather.
Panther Black Profile Leather Int,
Sport Suspension Plus,
Chrome Line Ext,
AM/FM/CD w/6 CD Changer
Tinted Rear Windows
Auto AC,
Power Locks, etc.
Leather Steering Wheel w/Cruise and Audio Controls,
Onboard Computer,
Heated Seats/Mirrors/Washer-Jets,
Dynamic Stability Control,
Sport Seats,
Rear Spoiler,
16" Alloy Wheels,
195/55R Run-flat tires

have a nice day
Too Many MINIs in Two Months Makes for Motoring Madness!

You gotta let us know .. you have our attention, or at least mine. ..l.o.l...
Terry :-)
whaddaya say to this one here:
1988 Audi 90 quattro Sedan. At a garage sale (don't ask...)
121k miles, gold, good body- galvanized, of course -- good tires, 5sp (yay!), sunroof, leather, locking rr diff, the works.

***** Wow! I was shocked to see those numbers. This is a $17K car BASE MSRP. I didn't think that car could get up so high. So we're talking $12K in options!? *****

Terry :-))
I gotta few outside of Sanford .. Hey, you will hardly notice those Hurricanes when they roll by ... :-)))
The Audi sounds like it could be a winner .. clean it up, get some ice blowing from the vents, make sure the Quattro is all there -- and Wango Tango, it could do an easy $2,0 at any auction ...
Terry.
Chagrined, I remain,
-Mathias
so this sparked my interest, why not buy a 2001 for the same price as a new rio or accent, but the thing is the dealers who have them want close to new prices (or more) where i live (Detroit michigan) so my question is where do you locate these low priced hyundas with poor resale value??
thanks,
Been to two dealers so far (who have Chevy sister dealerships) and am getting a trade-in figure of no more than $20,000. Was told that's all these are fetching at auction... Nuts to them.
Is this a regional (small market) problem? Would I be better off driving back to Dallas and cutting a deal? Is Kelly/TVM that far off the mark? Are the rebate factor/low APR deals killing me?
Appreciate the help!
Just curious, but as you're from Dallas, have you ever driven in snow before?
The experts will be along shortly to give you the real deal.
What would be a wholesale value for a
1999 Saab 93
4 door with hatchback
manual transmission
Factory Options
Leather
CD Player
Heated Seats
Power moonroof.
