Fritz1224, my fuel gauge does the same thing. Mine is at 4 gallons. It's normal for Accords.
Thanks
Thanks alot of the info. I'll give him a call
Thanks!
Will especially enjoy the TCS here in Michigan.
Also, there is special financing on V-6 Accords.
faddah
then again, honda is lame cause if you want a moonroof, gotta go with an EX....this is where toyota solara has it over the honda-- you can get a V6, cloth seats, moonroof, 5 speed-- really get the car the way you want it much better than honda's LX and EX trim/take it or leave it versions. nuts you say? hardly
Regarding models and trim lines, in my opinion Honda does it better than just about any other manufacturer including Toyota. The others make you wade through options and option packages to equip the car the way most people would want it. Honda makes it pretty simple, three trim lines (DX, LX and EX), with less and less options as you move up. Compare that with the Camry or any GM vehicle and the difference becomes clear. Even Edmund's review of the Camry mentions the option packages.
And yes, the odometer is of as well 30 MPG = 27 MPG, 200,000 miles = 180,000 miles
Apparently it's within government specs. Seems like poor quality to me though.
I found out my speedo was off about +7%(assuming the car I was following had an accurate one) Mine was reading 65 and his was 60.
But I thought someone had once posted that this difference didn't carry over to the odo. I can work with mentally adding mph to my speedo, but I can't compensate for actually using more gas than what my odo tells me.
Count on that guys !! odo is always right except you change wheels & put bigger wheels & don't do the caliberation. i.e civics having 17-18 inch wheels would show lesser mileage than actual travelled.
Do you drive an Accord and have you tested your odo for accuracy? Is this method of tracking miles "real" (sounds like Detroit) or just general theory you are referring to?
Thanks,
I'm trying to decide between an Accord EX-V6 w/ traction control vs Pathfinder 4x4. Can anyone shed some light on how the this Accord handles in the snow? I live in NY so there's not a lot of snow usually, but this past winter had its fair share. Thanks.
