Hello! are you still here?? I have a question about my new toy, a 98 ZX2, it seems to misfire every half second at any RPM, bucks severely if I really push the throttle down. turning the ignition off and back on sometimes 'fixes' it! sounds to me like a sensor is being read every half sec and the computer doesn't like it to me. The gas gauge also seems to misread also but not in syncro with the mis. any ideas?

I'm considering a Lincoln either MKC or MKX mainly for comfort. is adoptive suspension worth the additional cost? is it reliable or problematic?

    TIA

Mr_Shiftright - I just joined this forum minutes ago, after I observed your participation in a thread discussing considerations about purchasing a vehicle with a "Salvage" Title. Your responses inferred that you possess much knowledge about salvage-titled vehicles, so I wanted to pose a question to you. I'm also in California, & a search taught me there's a difference between a "Salvage Title" and a "Salvage Certificate." It said the "Certificate" dictates that the vehicle would have pass various inspections, but that the "Salvage Title" had already been through the inspections and the only requirement would be transferring the title to your own name. However, the article did not address the cost of the actual registration fee. I am aware the transfer title fee is a separate fee they add in - but how is the registration fee calculated? Do they just charge you one year's renewal fee from then on, or do you have to pay the previous owner's past due fees as well? Thank you!
