It seems that the price of gasoline has a ways to go. In St. Lucia a gallon of Regular unleaded is USD $4.15 a gallon. If the St. Lucians, who are less prosperous than their North American neighbors, are willing and able to pay such confiscatory prices, Americans may grovel but they too will pay even $5.00 per gallon of gas.
There is one way out of this predicament though, buy a Chevy Bolt and save yourself the headache of queuing in long lines for petrol. I know the EV revolution was coming but I didn't realize things would turn on a simple gas shortage.
