Unknown if you found a solution yet and I did not want to read all of the pages, so.

I purchased my hitch for a 2010 NOX on Ebay and it included a kit for attaching into the lights. To install this one, you have to remove the tail lights, very simple to do. These kits are available by themselves on Ebay also.
