IF YOU BUY THE TL IN MARYLAND, YOU CAN TAKE A EXTRA $500 OFF THAT PRICE. EMAIL ME FOR MORE INFORMATION........
you paid 32.2 for a 2001 TL... did that include dest. charge, tax, title and reg??? that seems high if it did not?
anyway, i emailed Maryland to see what they have going on... looking to purchase soon within a week or two... will probably hold out until month end (thanks for the advice, maybe i can squeeze some more out of them!)... edmunds has dealer holdback at 2%... has anyone been able to use this info to their advantage???
Good luck!
Eq, who did you deal with? I dealt with Gary Z.
given that you had a bunch of accessories put it, i could see how your costs are 30.1 (equalizer1) ... good job! s1gins, did your price of 29.2 include any accessories?
i looked up some of the accessories online and nothing jumped at me... are they ones that you would recommend..?
still shopping that $29,000 price around... probably could get the other dealership to go lower...
Overall, it has been a great car so far .
The deflector installation is simple. All you need is a 10mm box wrench and a philips screw driver. No holes to drill. The deflector uses clips to hold it to the roof. Save yourself a few dollars and install the deflector yourself. I did this because I wanted it done right. Most dealers will just slap it on and be done with it. If you get the dealer to install it, be sure and specify that they need to put the protective tape on to protect the paint from the clips. Most dealers will not take the time to do this.

I did NOT buy it from pats70fan!
Also, I had my seat belt holders replaced due to the update (SRS light on) about 2 months ago. I recently had the SRS light come back on, and took it back in. The dealer said they had just had a new bulletin on the sensor and that my car would be the first to get the treatement (not making me feel great!). Anyway, seems fine now.
Thanks for everyone's input! I bought home my Silver/Ebony 2001 Acura 3.2 TL with Nav from Brunswick Acura (NJ) on wednesday... i put about 200 miles on it over the holiday weekend! oh well... it's a GREAT car and i am very happy with the purchase... my final invoice price was 28,900 with free wheel locks thrown in... i still think i got a good deal!
if anyone is interested in buying an Acura in the NJ area, i would highly recommend them... never thought i would say it but the saleperson was great along with their manager and even the finance guy... if you need more info, just let me know...
Happy Shopping! for all those still thinking about buying, oh just go do it already!

Regards,
Any thoughts on comparing comfort, performance, reliability, maintenance costs etc. will be appreciated.
I will most likely be buying from Brunswick Acura. Did $28,900 include destination? Also did you finance through them? If so what kind of rate did they offer?
Thanks!
doopstr, the 28.9 did not include destination fee... you should stop by and take a look... they have plenty of 2000 or 2001 TLs to choose from and are itching to move them out before the year closes... ask for Scott... he was my salesman... he'll treat you right... as for interest rates, that's a different story... i am a relative young buyer with no real credit history... i.e. i don't own any equity... so i got 8.15% which was still better than my credit union! go figure...? hopefully this purchase will build my credit rating...
as for accessories, nothing screamed out at me... so i went with security... free wheel locks, basic Lojack ($595) and MVID ($200 reduced from $250)... let's say i spend too much time in high risk areas! you never these days...
any other way i can help my fellow TL owners or potential buyers, let me know...
