people buy full size V6 pickups. I think most pickup owners rarely put a big enough demand on their trucks to justify a V8. In fact, most of the pickups I see driving around have nothing in the box, but most are also big V8s. Each to his or her own.
A local dealer has a great deal going on the Ford F-150 4X4's with the 5 speed manual and the v-6 engine, the only option they have on them is an air conditioner. I was wondering if anyone here has this set up and if the engine has suffient power to go the speed limit (65) up hills? At 15,998 (since i don't qualify for 2 of the rebates) it's a hard deal to pass up.
temperature on my stripper would increase with the Lund Bug Screen over the grille. So far, no increase in engine temperature, but we have not yet hit the 120 degree mark, which will be the real test. The screen does an excellent job of keeping the bugs out of the radiator and makes clean up of the front easier since I don't have to work a rag in between the stock grille louvers.
installed it this past weekend. It was longer than necessary, so I had to trim it to fit between the AK side rail covers. It is just an "I" shaped piece, but it covers almost all of the bulkhead rail. I can see a small strip of the bed showing below the end of the bulkhead cap and the top of the Bedbug bed liner, but it looks well protected. I have not seen anyone make a custom full coverage bulkhead protector. I think most manufacturers think you will have a drop in bed liner which will cover this area.
