  • I have contacted two dealers in an area, and they both told me that there is a Finance markup of 0.4 to the MF to make it 0.0017

Am I stuck paying this finance markup?

It's a part of the negotiation, just like the selling price. If they won't budge, then you can vote with your feet, and go somewhere else.

Thanks, I was starting to think that maybe the dealers were getting together with each other on this stuff.

Well... most dealers mark up the money factor. It takes a savvy buyer to know what the numbers are (which is why you are here ;-))

Base MF for both 35i and 50i is .00130. Max MSD's would bring that down to .00081. Also, they both offer an option credit of $1250.

    35i residual is 56% for 36/15. Subtract 1% for 50i.

Hey guys - I don't know where to post this or where to look, but I'm looking for a 2014 X6 lease with $0 down, 12k miles/year, I want the M-Sport Package and Premium Package, the loyalty discount, and I want to pay in the $600's. Who can hook me up with a deal like this or where should I look? I know it's out there. Thanks!

Given that the X6 starts at $60k before any options (I just looked at them; my wife likes the look of them), it seems that getting a lease under $700/mo might be a bit of a challenge.

MF is .00130 and the 36/12 residual for the xDrive 35i is 58%; subtract 1% for the 50i.

If you can provide me with an MSRP and cap cost, I can model the payment for you.

Absolutely - you really shouldn't sign any lease deal that includes an inflated money factor.

Here is my lease numbers. Hopefully it will help guide someone in right direction who is thinking about leasing 2014 X6 35i. New or Certified pre owned. In my case Certified pre owned Elite with 11675 Miles. Lease is for 36/15000

When I build with same specs on BMW USA and on Edmonds MSRP came out $80575. My SAV is Aug.2013 build. Did BMW go up by $1000 on X6 after Aug.2013?

    MSRP 79575 Heavily Loaded
Sale price 57675 Agreed price 57875-200=57675 explained in line 3
    Res.Value 42327 (53%)Deduction of $2235 for 11675 miles Original 56%/44562
Acqui. fee 925 I protested about extra $200 so they lowered from sale price
Doc.fee 599 I did not argue because I thought they gave me a good Deal
    Total 59199
    7MSD $4200 Brought Money Factor to.00081 /1.94% from .00130/3.12%

    Total out of pocket
    $4200MSD +567.44 First month Payment + 167.20 up front charge = 4934.64

$567.44First payments Includes 3% NC Tax(We pay tax on monthly payment)
$167.20 upfront charge Did not ask what it was for.

$567/mo with nothing down but MSDs and 1st payment for an $80K car? Even for a $58K car, it's a great deal.. Nice job!
