    CarMan,
If you have info on the following it would greatly help my shopping and negotiating:

    2014 A7 Premium Plus TDI 36mo 15k mile

    mf and residual?

Also, do you know the cost to pre purchase miles? still $.15?

Does anyone know if Audi financial still allows multiple MSDs to reduce mf?

    Thanks a million!

what do you guys think. is it a good deal?
  • Earlier I asked about 36 month lease rates. What are the dealer buy lease rates and residual for a 24 month S7 lease @ 12k and 15k per year? (assume top tier credit score) Does the lowest buy rate MF require a security deposit? If not, can you lower the MF by adding a security deposit? if so what is the amount that it is lowered?

    Thanks!
  • kyfdxkyfdx Posts: 159,619
    2014 S7 24mo, 15K/yr lease
    .00162 MF and 59% residual.. Add 2% for 12K/yr

Generally, security deposits are waived for existing customers. New customers are required to make a security deposit, or can have it waived for an increase in the money factor (this is usually a bad deal).

So, to get the lowest rate, you'll need to make a security deposit. Occasionally, you will run into a lease deal where they are waiving all security deposits, where the above will not apply.

  • Thank you for the response! So, I'm I correct to assume that the .00162 MF is the rate without a security deposit for a returning customer with a high credit rating? If so, what is the additional reduction in MF with a single security deposit? I also understand that you can do multiple security deposits. I did this with BMW and it was a good deal at the time but my understanding is that AUDI's method for additional deposits yields a lower return - but I can't seem to get that exact info.

Do you (or anyone) post a chart somewhere where all this data is available look up?
  • kyfdxkyfdx Posts: 159,619
Returning customers have their security deposit waived, but they can't get an additional MF discount by making one.... I'm pretty sure MSDs are available, but I don't know the specifics of Audi's program..

  • A7 Prem Plus TFSI
    Sticker: $66,300 (metalic, side assist)

$750 / mo (zero down, only taxes and MV). I believe the first pmt might be waived.
    36 mo / 10k
Has about $2k off and $1500 loyalty / conquest discount.

(Or $650 / mo single pay lease)

    Any thoughts on this pricing?
  • Hi Car Man,

Can you please let me know what would be the lease numbers for an A7 TFSI Prestige or Premium PLus, 12k miles per year with a 36, 39 or 42 month lease?

  • This forum was a great help when I purchased my last Audi A6. I have my heart stuck on a A7 prestige TDI but wasn't able to workout a deal last weekend. The process is even tougher when you can't find the car in the color and with the packages you want.

I saw today that Audi has released a new program till the end of the year. Appreciate if you can let me know the residual, money factor for 12k per year 36 month lease. Not sure if this is something you can do but what is a good price to pay for A7 prestige - 74K MSRP with 3000 down (12k per year 36 month lease). Also can I combine Audi loyalty of 1500 plus the one month free?

    Your help is sincerely appreciated.

    Thanks
  • How much of a discount are you guys getting off MSRP? Are there any incentives going on?

    Thanks

    Jeff

  • Hi Car Man. I recently placed a deposit for an incoming S7. Initially when I made the deposit, I planned to lease the car. In the subsequent weeks I inquired to my dealer about possibly financing the car. It took some time for the dealership to respond to me but today I found out that they were canceling my order and refunding my deposit for no apparent reason. I'm waiting to hear back from the sales manager about the reason. Can they legally cancel my order without my consent? I appreciate any advice you can give. Thanks.

  • kyfdxkyfdx Posts: 159,619

I'm not a lawyer, but until the papers are signed, no deal is final. You can't make a dealership sell you a car. Just a guess, but maybe they couldn't get an S7 allocation?

I also plan to special-order this car with European delivery. Is it true that I can't get any commitment about MF and residual from my dealer due to this?

    2014 Audi A7 3.0T Premium Plus 36mo, 10K/yr lease

    .00131 MF and 57% residual.

I'm not sure of Audi's policy on locking rates... I know that BMW will and Mercedes won't.. so, I wouldn't be surprised that Audi wouldn't...

    2014 A7 3.0T Premium Plus 36mo, 15K/yr lease

.00092 MF and 53% residual. Prestige residual is 3% lower.

So... lower money factor, but also a lower residual.

    36mo, 12K/yr lease

    .00092 MF and 52% residual

42 month lease: .00112 MF and 48% residual.

You don't want to lease an Audi for longer than 42 months, as those programs are not subsidized.

Hi kyfdx, could you please provide residuals and money factors for a 2014 3.0 TFSI Prestige A7 with both 15k and 18k miles/yr and 680-700 credit score? 36 mo. lease Thank you!

Would it be possible for Audi (or their leasing company) to inflate residuals to sell a better deal?

.00092 MF and 50% residual for 36mo, 15K/yr lease. Audi doesn't publish an 18K/yr program, though I'm sure they can do it, with a corresponding residual reduction.

680-700 credit should get you top tier, unless you've specifically had car payment issues, I'd think.

AFS sets the residuals, and they can't be altered, though sometimes they set them artificially high to market the vehicles. Audi residuals are not very high right now, though.
