what is your best educated guess here and based on your past experience: will rates become better for December? I know there is not way to know for sure so a guesstimate is fine.
trying to decide: order a car and get it in dec or get a car not 100% to my spec off the lot now.

If you are considering a 2014 model, then I'd make a deal this month.. Because at some point, they will stop offering lease support on the outgoing model.
If you are looking at 2015 models, then no harm in waiting.. Lease deals might get better or might not, but I doubt they will get worse. But, if you are negotiating for an ordered car with Mercedes, they won't lock in a lease program. Not a lot of risk there, but you need to have it in writing that you'll get the base rates, once the car shows up.
its a 2015. they said they wont lock the rate and i am rolling the dice but also said the rates have been high last few months and they dont see them going up.... "but anything can happen"
I got this unbelievable deal on 2014 GLK-350 with MSRP $48K in New Jersey. $452 per month for 24 months / 12K miles per year, $2100 total out of pocket. Now, only two months later I changed jobs and I have to get rid of the car. My lease is through MB Financial, very straight forward process to take over the lease... Can you advise me how to find a person, who would take over this great deal? Thanks a lot mikep7070@juno.com

There are multiple sites where lease swaps can be advertised. A quick search should turn up a few of them.
Found a new 2014 GLK 4matic that we'd like to lease. Could you provide the MF and residual info for 24mo/10k miles per year lease? Are there any additional rebates available now for the 2014 GLK models? Thanks!

Thanks for the info! Not sure why the multiple posts came up and also delayed. Picked up the 2014 GLK for my wife on Friday. Great deal in NJ if anyone is interested, feel free to PM. Thanks!

Please share the details of your deal here on the forum, so everyone can benefit.
We picked up a 2014 GLK 4matic over the weekend. 24mo/10k per year including maintenance. $400/mo including tax. $2k total out of pocket at signing for first month, bank fee, doc and DMV. Car is a salesman's demo with 6k miles on it. They have one more like it if anyone is interested. Steel Grey with black interior, P1 package and a couple other options.
With the winter event having rebates on the 2014 and not the 2015, lower MF on the 2014 at 0.00108 vs 0.00143, a fleet discount I get from my company and dealer discount to move the car, I paid $37,500k and includes 2 yr maintenance. MSRP was $46,210 and residual was at 65%. We were coming out of an existing MB lease which we bought at a competing dealer but made the move to this new dealer. Salesman was no nonsense, did majority of deal over email, then came in with my wife to drive the car and finalize. Good experience overall, in and out of finance office in 15 mins, no bs on trying to upsell stuff. They grounded our previous lease, waived the lease termination fee and into this new one. MBF had 4 months lease pull ahead now. Could change come December but was not worth waiting to see if it got any better. We had a few more months on the current car but this deal was worth it to pay and get out a couple months early.
