I just purchased a 2008 BMW X3 3.0si. Can somebody tell me where to find a more detailed book. The owner's manual doesn't tell you all you need to know about AC, stereo, cell phone, etc. Even how many quarters engine oil are needed to replace...

I wonder if you wound up with "the" owner's manual or just some sort of quick start guide. Did you check the BMW owner's page at BMWUSA.com? I'm not a fan of those video snippets there but some of those may help.

Here's an original owner's manual for sale on eBay: http://bit.ly/1mKXc82

7 quarts of synthetic oil for that model.

    1. BMWUSA.com was helpful. Thanks, Stever. There were couple good tips.
    2. Yet again, I do have the original owner's manual. The common answer for more details is: "See a local BMW dealer". I don't think is a rocket scientist to do basic thinks on your own. A lot of them I was able to find in my own, and not from the book(!), but I want more.
    3. On another link it was saying...6.5 quarts of 5W-30 synthetic oil...Thanks anyway.

Guys, I want more DETAILS about my car, to be able to full operate it.

Well then it sounds like you want a service manual, which might only come on a BMW service disk. I don't think Bentley or Haynes carries one at this time. Or you could register in a very specific X3 forum (not affiliated with Edmunds, so I cannot vouch for your experience there) and ask questions there:

Quite right, I already checked, Bentley or Haynes don't give me love.
    Thanks for the link.
