Looks like it is still listed for sale on their website - these Q5s are a great used car value, IMO. Plus you still have the balance of the 4 year/50k mile warranty on it.
It is, good detective work. Hard to believe it listed around $48k new. With 27k on it it’s like a new car.
Audi miles are like dog years.

Here is a question for you. Our deck was put in about 4 years ago. This year it has a coating of junk on it and a bit of green algae I guess. The patio is getting some kind of coating on it too.
How do I get rid of the dirt coating? Do I get a pressure washer. How much is one that is good enough for something like this? Can I wash it down with bleach or something? Should I call the guy?
My deck is the same way. If I ever get time I’ll scrub it with a bleach/soap solution using a stiff bristled brush. I do something similar to get the algae off the vinyl siding.
I got the special stuff ab recommended and a scrub brush, but Mrs D wants to get "The Guy". I think she thinks I am incompetent at these things. I will say, it has me a bit worried, wear rubber gloves, do not splash any on you, wear safety glasses, cover plants, don't allow pets near it, don't get on skin.....etc, etc.
Hmm... maybe I spoke too soon. Car was fine tonight. Car started fine and wipers normal speed.
Maybe battery just got a little drained with the heat yesterday.
If your electric accessories were slow when the car was running it might be something other than your battery. Correct me if I’m wrong but doesn't equipment like wipers work off the alternator once the car is started?
No all your electrical components run off the battery, your alternator keeps the battery charged. That is so electronics get a consistent flow of power, not more when the car is moving.
But my point was that once the car was running his accessories should not run slowly due to the input of the alternator. I’ve driven many a clunker with a near dead battery and things worked fine when the car was running. Could a battery be so damaged that it would restrict power delivery through it?
Short answer...YES.
I'm sure no one wants me to get into this BUT to make a long story short, I have tried to jump start cars that have had shorted batteries to the point that the car could not be jump started because the shorted battery sucked so much power from the jump start car that there wasn't enough power to turn the starter fast enough on the car being jump started. The fix for this is to remove one of the cables on the dead battery and then jump start the car. It works every time if the dead battery is shorted bad enough. So, if you're driving a car that has a battery that gets to the point that it is shorted enough, it will sap enough power from the alternator that is trying to keep the battery charged, that it would affect the ignition system. While this is a VERY rare occurrence it is possible and with all of the warning lights on cars today, at least one light will go on.

But his car started.
But it gave him a chance to write another novel.......
Ford F-150 electric pulls over a million pound train; The electric prototype is seen pulling 10 double-decker rail cars over 1,000 feet. It does it once when the rail cars are empty and a second time with them loaded with 42 regular, gas-burning F-150s. The latter stunt puts the entire load at 1.25 million pounds

Yes, but your OP asked, "Could a battery be so damaged that it would restrict power delivery through it?" And my post explained how it could. Batteries don't have to die while the car is off. In fact, they actually start dying while you are driving and using power from it even though the alternator is trying to charge it. You only find out it's dead when you try to start the car because this is when the battery is loaded down the most.

As to your cleaner, if the label says it contains sodium hypochlorite you bought expensive bleach.
There is now a new type of cleaner which this one is;
Oxygenated Deck Cleaners
Oxygenated deck cleaners have become increasingly popular in the past decade. These types of deck cleaners contain Sodium Percarbonate an active ingredient that is EPA registered for removing mold and mildew. Oxygenated deck cleaners also include additional surfactants that help boost the total cleaning effectiveness. These powdered concentrated cleaners are mixed with water and applied to the wood with a pump sprayer then scrubbed or pressure washed off. Oxygenated deck cleaners are eco-friendly, easy to use, and extremely effective.
You are right though, sodium hypochlorite is expensive bleach.
Driver, if you need to spray on a big area, they make attachments for your hose with a container and mix dial that you put on, fill with the stuff, then just spray on.
@fezo, Hybridization/electrification is on the way, so gas won't be as big a factor. At least that seems to be the bet.
That is the multi-billion or trillion question. The word is that electric cars will dominate within a decade or so.
You'll still run a car cheaper than a truck.
And the other question becomes how this electricity would be generated. I may have to get more solar panels...
Maybe the government will mandate a bicycle hooked up to a generator.
You may have something there. There are thousands of spin classes each day and thousands more using exercise bikes in gyms. Just hook them up to generators and presto free electricity.

Usual deck cleaning materials I've heard home repair guys recommend is a mixture of bleach (laundry hypochlorite), trisodiumphosphate (the real stuff from Lowes and not the "new" substitute), and dishwashing detergent. The TSP cuts through grease and grime and the household detergent does the same. TSP is used for preping walls before painting where cooking fumes have deposited grease on the walls or heavy smoking has coated the walls with tobacco goo.

@cdnpinhead ...just a slight correction. I’m knee deep in Defense work, also. Raytheon, can and does make some of its defense contracted materials in Puerto Rico, as it’s part of the U.S. I’ve been down there to see some of the contract work in the last 36 months.

Commenting about maintenance costs......My TLX’s total maintenance (so far) as follows....
2 (about to be 3) Synthetic Oil Changes (done by the dealer) @ $40/ea (with the requisite inspections)....3X$40=$120
Change differential fluid....$80
Engine Air Filter replacement (done by me).....$18
Interior Air Filter replacement (done by me)....$9
I figure the 27 month maintenance costs all totaled comes to $227.
I’m averaging about 22-23 MPG in 80% all city driving and have had a high of 37 MPG on an all highway trip. Hit a low of 19 MPG of an all city tank of gas that was made up mainly of stop and go traffic during mostly rush hour driving. All this according to the “FUELLY” app (figures it manually per fill up instead of using the car’s computer).
I have had ZERO trips to the dealership for warranty work.

To say it's just worthless social media, is a completely distorted view. Internet enabled information exchange that is beyond comprehension. Commerce, logistics, customer management and we are actually still just scratching the surface of potential use. Industrial internet means machines can potentially call owners for service on premature wear of components, minimizing unplanned disruptions. Sensors embedded everywhere. Machine data learning.allowing to squeeze additional efficiencies. This is just starting. But even in the past, just ability to buy something that your local grocery or hardware store does not carry (and none of their suppliers has even idea of what it is) to be delivered to your door couple of days after ordering is beyond amazing, IMHO. Using my original comparison (printing press), saying that Internet is just social media is like saying that print is just romance novels and tabloid papers, just because they outsell anything else.

OK, I’ll adjust my percentage to 70%. Still a lot of worthless usage on the web, and I don’t see working people’s lives being made better because of it. If anything, a lot of people have been put out of work because of internet usage. Just because something is new and exciting does not mean it benefits society. Making it easier to buy useless trinkets that put you in debt does not benefit anyone except the companies that sell said useless trinkets.

I am working through a current deck problem. My wood deck which I reboarded about 10 years ago has a spot of rot on the treated wood from Home Depot--the Premium 5/4 x 6 wood! My wife keeps deck carpets under the two areas of furniture on the deck. The last carpets has a rubberized backing and she left them on during the winter.
I am cutting out 3 boards and patching in new boards. I'm stalling off because I found Menards sells prestained high quality 5/4x6 deck boards. So I'll plan to have them delivered later into the fall and replace the deck when it's dry and cooler. Lots of screwing and unscrewing...

Amazing stuff. You spray it on. Wait 15 minutes and it turns to a white powder. You scub it lightly so it gets into cracks etc. but don't have to scrub hard. Wait another 15 minutes and wash off, a strong hose is good enough, power washer would probably be better.....but, the dirt and algae wash away.

That guy has a bunch of videos out on how his customers wreck his exotic rental cars and how he gets sued and makes bad business deals. I’m not sure he would be my choice to recommend what car to buy.
3 second 0-60? How much faster can you get? Would you spend an extra $60k to shave another second?

You'll still run a car cheaper than a truck.
And the other question becomes how this electricity would be generated. I may have to get more solar panels...

I heard that they will all be DCTs and if you use both paddle shifters at the same time it disengages both clutches allowing you to rev the engine.

What was the product you bought?

Couldn’t be more pleased.

I am cutting out 3 boards and patching in new boards. I'm stalling off because I found Menards sells prestained high quality 5/4x6 deck boards. So I'll plan to have them delivered later into the fall and replace the deck when it's dry and cooler. Lots of screwing and unscrewing...

"Activox is based on the Oxyclean type mild bleaches using oxygen.
Other oxygen products are based solely on Hydrogen peroxide or Sodium percarbonate (Oxy Clean type products). These products will provide some cleaning benefits but the reason ACTIVOX outperforms these type of cleaners is because of the patented 2 part system of adding the powders to the liquid for an on-site oxygen activated cleaning. This is what makes ACTIVOX truly unique."
