just closed a deal on an 2015 AWD RDX with tech package in DC for 36 mo./15k miles. stats as follows:
MSRP: $41,115 (incl. destination of $920) Negotiated Price: =$35815 (incl. $920 destination) Plus: $212 reg/title/fees, $295 dealer documentation fee, and $595 lease acquisition fee Net Capitalized Cost: $36917 Residual value: 57% LMF: .00064 $0 money down and only the first month payment due at signing (no other fees)
Base payment is $413.14 plus $41.31 in DC taxes (10%). Total monthly payment: $454.45.
Thoughts on whether this is a good deal? Seemed to be a pretty good discount off the MSRP and the lease payment numbers seem to check out when you run the math.
New RDX is likely coming out in March so they are being pretty aggressive on getting rid of cars on the lot - should be a good time to get a deal.

Congratulations. You did just fine. Enjoy the new car!
I guess I'm a bit confused. The current deals are much lower (with lower mileage, of course) than the recent ones posted here. Even if you drove 36,000 miles on a 30,000 mile lease, you'd only owe $1,200, which is much less than the difference in total payments posted recently.
The current deal is a 2015 RDX with Technology Package for $349/month after $2899 paid at signing. I guess my question is: should I try to do better than that? I was kind of expecting to see lower numbers here thinking the "deals" posted by the manufacturers weren't really the bottom lines. I'm in FL with 7% local sales tax.

Any advertised deal is just "OK" and you should be able to do better negotiating on your own.
In addition, a fair amount of that $2899 due at signing is cap cost reduction (aka down payment), which we recommend against. If the car is stolen or totaled, you lose that money.
Thanks. I guess then I have a two-part question. What are the current residual and MF for an RDX with Tech package in FL at 36/10 and how do they compare to what's used in the advertised special?
I guess the better starting point for comparison is the current 0 down deal which ends up at $420/month for 35 months?

Hello, thanks for all of the great info - what is the current residual and MF in California (San Francisco) for a 2015 RDX FWD, and AWD, w/Tech at 36mo and 12k year?

I'm getting quotes a few hundred cheaper right off the bat without negotiating at all in Boston area. On the West Coast, people are reporting selling prices in the 33Ks.
Hey Everyone...new to this forum and relatively new to car leasing so please bear with me! I'm looking at getting into a '15 RDX w/Tech FWD.
Just got a quote from a leasing broker and wanted to run it by you guys if it seems legit.
Cap Cost: $36,956 w/ drive off fee ($857) 57% RV and .0054 MF - no money down, 15,000/mi per year, 36 mo lease. Monthly payment is $515.68 including tax.
This seems a bit high to me. I've got to believe this can be done cheaper....
I've also heard that the 2016s are hitting dealer's lots next month so now is the best time to get into a '15.
Curious, about the post above, where on the West Coast are you? I'm in Southern California.

I got a couple of more quotes in the 34,200 range, with the lowest at 34,129. Something in the 33Ks would be awesome.
2015 RDX with AWD, no other options. I asked them to roll all taxes and fees into the monthly payment with no down payment. this is in the NYC/Long Island area. Thanks.
The mods are going to ask for the selling price of the car to be able to tell you if it's a good deal or not.
Using my payment calculator that looks to be about $225 less than invoice + the $750 lease cash available. That puts the selling price around $34500 which seems to be in the ball park with the quotes I've been getting in MA. I'd think you might knock a few hundred off that sale price with a little bit of negotiation. The 2016s will be on the lot very soon so they have motivation to move these 2015s. If you paid the acquisition fee upfront ($595), that would bring you down to about $372

If I use the $34,500 as the net cap cost, I get a pre-tax payment of $334.93. Looks like the dealer is adding the tax to the sale price, which could account for the difference in their quote.
Leased one this weekend, after price matching and negotiating, 34K. I felt that was fair and no gimmicks on the residual or money factor. Third Acura leased from this dealer so I find the process to be easier each time. Chose to pay the acquisition fee upfront because that 595 becomes almost 650 if you roll it in. This was in Boston area.

Can someone please help me understand the current lease deal for 349 36 months with tech? How do I know this is actually the deal the dealership will give me? Also can I please have residual and MF for Texas? Are these already set in the lease special? Apologies for all the questions but leasing is very confusing.

Any national or regional deal is just OK - they usually require a large down payment, which we do not recommend.
And, you should be able to negotiate a better selling price than that used in the $349 quote.
MF and residual for the RDX AWD with Tech are .00064 and 57% for 36/15
can you please provide the residual and MF for an AWD RDX with and without tech. 36 or 39 months, 10k miles. Does Acura offer a 7,500 mile lease? This is in NYC if numbers are not national

Acura numbers are national
.00064 MF and 63% for 36/10 without tech.
Subtract 2% for 39 months
Subtract 3% for tech package
If Acura offers a 7,500 mile program, add 1% to the 10K numbers
How do I know what the selling price is? Do I just add thdown-payment?
No, you negotiate a selling price for a lease just like you do for a purchase - use the pricing tools at the top of the page (make / model / year) to help establish a target price.
I need a check... I was given 60% residual and .00104 MF for an RDX FWD with tech. Something does not seem right, I was given a monthly payment of $505.64 based on a selling price of about $36,600.

Base MF on the RDX is .00064. 60% is the 36/10 residual for the FWD with Tech.

Sorry for the delay, yes the sale price was 34,521. Dealership is also throwing in all season package (floor mats, wheel locks, cargo tray) at no extra cost. Don't know if I should jump on the offer or wait until the national lease deal is over on 3/2 to see if the deals get better. Any advice?

Hi all - been using all the good posted information for the past few months; now it's my time to share. Thanks for all the help. - Fresh deal today in the Baltimore area: RDX AWD with Technology – 36 mo/12K Cap cost = $36,533 (includes 1st month payment) MF = .00064 Residual = 59% dealer and lease docs/title, plus additional $450 = $1570 paid cash upfront $430/month, includes 6% MD tax 1 ½ hours chatting on the net last night, plus another hour in the showroom today. Three 'sales managers' had to come in and push, but they want to sell cars!

I just leased a 2015 FWD RDX, no Tech package. 36 months/12K miles @ $345 per month
Price: $33473
Residual: $22329
$2387 down payment via trade-in (The lease special was $2999 for this, but I negotiated no extra down).
It's my first lease, hopefully not my last if I did ok here. Thanks!
