I was going to get the chrome 2K1 wheels for my Classic. Then someone posted a picture in the gallery that showed a champain/beige classic with the 2K1 aluminum rims. I now have them sitting in my place waiting to be mounted on the car. Thank you ebay. So I guess my vote is for the brushed metal.
Especially using your clean ride to see how the FON wheels work on a Classic. If the link works (let me know if it doesn't someone) I may try with a champagne color Aurora.
i'm looking for coil springs or any other way of lowering my aurora. If anybody ever see any up for sale hit me up on here. The rsm springs are up to $600. That just shows the business trying to make up for a lack of demand.
i got them from a guy off gmforums. com which is now gone...i got them used. they've been disco'd for 4 years, i tried a ton of places, no one has them because they've always been a special order. but honestly, you dont want them. it looked great, but it rode like crap. it was extremely stiff and harsh.
ive lowered my new car, 2001 alero gls, with a 1.75" kit, kyb's all the way around. its no where near as stiff or bouncy as the aurora. i think this is part of the reason they discontinued the eibach kit.
The second one I saw, it's like 15 min. from my parent's house. Figures it be here in Heaven's waiting room.
I've never seen the 4th pic. Think that is best aurora's I've ever seen. Dunno if the glass-roof is real but the car is stunning. The platimun paint, chrome wheels and exhaust tips, and unique rear deck. Definetly would have paid the premium for it.
And the last pic makes me want to put a round in someone....
20 inch chromes, Full HID Kit, Silverstars 3157's, LED Courtesy Lights, LED Front Marker Lights, LED Rear Marker Lights, LED Custom 3rd Break Light, Alpine Head Unit with Remote Control, Kenwood Speakers with Tweets, JL Audio Amp, JL Audio Subwoofer, Custom Made Clear Side Marker Lamps.
I purchased a 1995 Aurora for my father four yrs ago. He probably put 3K miles on it during that time. It is in excellent shape. He no longer wants to drive, so I have assumed custody of this lovely machine. It caused me to sell my Jag several wks. ago. After seeing the pic of the Aurora with the panoramic roof, I want to upgrade. Do you have anymore information concerning this vehicle or the persons responsible for the customizing work? I would appreciate any info you may have.
IIRC the panoramic roof Aurora was shown at the Los Angeles Auto Show in January 1995 or 1996. Olds was responsible for its creation - I don't know who did the work. I am sure it would cost a pretty penny to duplicate.
I think there were more pics on Zinc's Classic Aurora site:
Please send Corsa-mod pix... I'm getting their Y-pipe soon to go with my exhaust buildup (can't afford much more at their price) (take out the spaces, add "@ and .", etc.) ron chinnery comcast net
I am thinking of buying a 1999 Aurora with 81,000 miles on it. I currently have a 2004 Pacifica that I hate. How do most of you like your Oldsmobile? This car appears to be in excellent condition and everything in working order. They are asking 7,500 for it. Any suggestions would be great.

I'd like to find (still looking) some 17 or 18 inch wheels in the Aurora style but with a deeper dish where the spokes meet the rim.

That would be my best suggestion. Do some googling, then call the places that you find and cross your fingers.
