basically, the protection plan added $28 to the monthly payments for a total monthly payment of

$461.15 for 3 years and 12,000 miles per year

I put nothing down and just paid my first month and they paid half of my registration costs.

would have been an awesome deal had I not bought the protection plan I take it?

I know the tires and wheels (2 each) will be used from that and Ive always had issues with windshield damage and lost my TnC key so that could be an issue as well. SO maybe it might pay for itself? Its 20" tires/wheels and looking at retail prices, its expensive to replace, compared to the 17" I have on the TnC.

I am in NY trading in my 2013 nissan rogue (11 payments remaining on current lease) for a 2015 murano s with 12k miles/yr, my husband is an employee with verizon so apparently some discount was applied? 
I am being asked to put 500 down and my payment will tben be $350/month for 36 months?
is this reasonable? Or should I keep looking? 
I should also note, I referred a friend who was offered same deal ( she has 6 payments left on her lease) and my mother who just leased a sentra...
any input would be greatly appreciated

To evaluate a lease deal properly, we need to know the MSRP, selling price, and state/tax rate, etc, etc..

Don't think Nissan offers a 10K/yr plan... if they do, the residuals are 1% higher.

No idea how the residual can be 55%, unless he is quoting 36mo, 12K/yr.

Anecdotal evidence would lead me to believe that while Nissans overall are only slightly less reliable than Toyotas, the Murano in particular seems to be trouble prone. I'd put it way down the reliability scale from a Highlander (my opinion)

Depends on what it includes - first payment, bank fee and dealer fee can easily equal $1300.
