Hi,

I am looking for a high mileage lease for an entry level luxury, I started a new sales job and unfortunately need my own car to "impress" potential clients.

I will be driving 15-18k a year and I am ok with 2-4 year lease terms.

Appreciate any suggestions/

Most leases allow 15,000 miles per year.

If you want more miles, you have the option to purchase them up front. Lexus, for example, charges $.20/mile. Therefore, if you wanted 18,000 miles per year on a 3 year lease, you'd have to buy 9,000 miles up front, for a cost of $1800. This amount is deducted from the calculated residual and is amortized monthly over the lease term ($1800 / 36 = $50/mo extra on your payment).

Most luxury makes offer a similar rate to buy the extra miles up front.

GM and Ford usually quote residuals for 18K/yr or 19.5K/yr for 2% or 3% lower than the 15K/yr residual (so, Cadillac or Lincoln, as well). That's usually cheaper than the per/mile route of the other makes
