2.0t I was given a quote $399/mo for 36 months 12000/yr for msrp $38630 cap cost $33524 residual $21632.80 and money factor 0.0049. Wasn't sure if they were using May numbers.

Those aren't May numbers; these are:

    FWD - .00021 and 54%
    AWD - .00030 and 55%
    $750 lease cash

With your MSRP and cap cost, I get a pre-tax payment of $363.19/mo for FWD or $357.47/mo for AWD.

DC48 - sounds like a great deal. I'm curious - what did your cap cost reductions include to get down to $33,524? All dealer contribution, down payment, incentives, etc.?

    Thanks.

I'm looking to lease a 2015 Santa Fe Sport AWD 2.4L with leather and the tech package, so that also includes the popular and premium packages. I'm looking for the best 3 year, 12k miles per year, and no money down and taxes rolled into the lease that I can get. What's the current money factory factor for may, and how low on a monthly payment do you think I can get? I'm ready to make a deal this month, or if you think I should wait until June? Any and all info/feedback would be appreciated.

Anyone get a great lease deal this weekend on the Santa Fe Sport AWD 2.4L with Tech package in the NY/NJ area? I got a great quote for $414 per month with no money down and NJ (7%) taxes rolled into the lease payment (3 year, 12k miles), but the catch was you had to take one from the dealers inventory. Thoughts on this deal? Can I get it for lower than $400?

To be honest? $400 is not a deal on 2.4L. The deal is to get 2.0 loaded below $400.

Who knows? You might encounter a dealer that needs to make "one more sale" to hit a volume bonus and will do almost anything to get it.

A local dealer is offer me the following lease deal (15k/36mths) - they will pay my last 3 lease payments, repair a crack in my front bumper by the license plate, and replace tires on my 2013 Sonata LTD (15k/36 mths - 36,800 miles driven).
2015 Santa Fe Sport Limited FWD w/ Ultimate package:
    MSRP: $34,375
    Selling Price: $33,124.76
    Less: Rebates 3,000.00
    Add: Fees 595.00
    Residual 50%
    MF .00012
Monthly inc Tax $419 (tax rate 8%)

Personally, I find this to be a bit on the high side because they really didn't give me anything off on the car price. True they will be making the payments and repairs on my current lease...but I think what they are really doing is rolling some (if not all) of the costs into the selling price. So really all they are doing is saving me the hassle of having to take care of the repairs myself. What do you think?

Same advice as before ... get the current payoff value and current trade in value of your Sonata so you know how much equity (positive or negative) you have, then negotiate with the dealer based on that knowledge.

    And, get multiple dealers involved.

Quick question about the $1750 lease cash on the 2015 Turbo AWD. At Hyundai's website there is no mentioning of a lease cash incentive: https://www.hyundaiusa.com/financial-tools/special-offers.aspx

There is a $500 Summer Sales Cash and a $1,000 Retail Bonus Cash. Are these two incentives separate from the $1750 lease cash you are mentioning?

Yes - lease cash is A factory to dealer incentive, which the dealer can choose to pass along to the customer. Completely separate from the factory to consumer incentives that you see on the website

Now I got an even better deal. 15k/36mth lease on a 2015 Santa Fe 2.0T AWD - Ultimate MSRP $38,655 for $389/mth (inc. tax). Dealer #1 gave me a counter offer to the deal above...and it's brand new. And this isn't even the vehicle I originally tried to get...So I'm ecstatic!! I go to pick it up tonight. My 1st SUV...I can't wait to drive it.

Hey, really informative thread. Thanks all those that are helping people save a few bucks.

Just looking at the new post July 4th incentives good from 7/7/15-7/31/15 on the Hyundai Sante Fe Sport. First off about the sport, that's just a 2 row seating model with a little longer wheel base from the regular Sante Fe, correct?

And secondly regarding the lease offer, "Lease a 2015 Santa Fe Sport 4dr CUV Sport for $239 per month for 36 months with $2,249 due at lease signing" It says that the MSRP is $25,845, but then says the actual net capitalized cost is $21,891.

Here is how do the math, but obviously I must be making a mistake somewhere:

    MSRP - $25,845

    less
    Cap Cost Red. - ($2,010)
    First Payment - ($239)
    Value Owner - ($750)

That only gets us to $22,846.

I saw that there is another $500 rebate for Customer Cash back, but that is still above the $21,891 actual net capitalized cost (before TTL).

I need a little help seeing the err in my ways. And also I would love to know the money factor they are using for this month on the Sante Fe Sport leases. Thanks!

    Hi Michaell and kyfdx,

You guys helped me tremendously with the leasing process last fall for a BMW so I wanted to pop my head in again as my mom is in the process of trying to lease a 2016 Santa Fe Sport 2.4. Here is the leasing information she was quoted by a dealer in Tustin, CA 92782.

Could you let me know if better numbers are attainable? Always thankful for your experienced advice.

    36 Month Lease / 12k miles per year / $800 Drive offs
MSRP: $26,370 / Sale Price: $24,331 (after dealer discount & factory rebates)
    Money Factor: 0.00149 / Residual: 55% ($14,503 BO)
    Doc Fees: $80 / License & Title: $294 / Acquisition Fee: $595 / Taxes on Collected Items: $133.69
    Total Cap: $26,683.69 / Net Cap: $25,012.54 / Base Payment = $350.79 plus sales tax of $28.06 = $378.85 monthly payment

You wouldn't subtract the 1st payment and I doubt any of those other rebates are in the calculation, either. What you are missing is the dealer's discount from MSRP. You wouldn't pay full sticker price, would you?

FWD? .00109 MF and 55% residual. Looks like they are marking up the money factor.

    Hi kyfdx,

Thanks for the quick response. Yes this would be for a FWD. Good to know they are marking up the MF. Do you think the 7.7% discount from MSRP is generous?

Sorry.. no idea on pricing. You can use the Make/Model/Year tabs at the top of the page and get Edmunds TMV price.
