Hello, I am looking to see what MSRP and selling price people have been getting as well as lease breakdowns if any have been done yet. I am doing my preliminary research on a replacement for my Mercedes ML350 lease that ends in a few months.

I bought a White in Signature trim in Maryland for $42,977 (MSRP $45,115). Pretty significant discount in my opinion for the signature trim. Got another $500 off as a loyalty discount so it came out to $42,477. Love the car!

Picked up 2016 Silver/Black GT for 39500 (incl. 500 loyalty rebate) + TTL. Got 2k (KBB estimated $900) trade-in on my 2000 Ody with 140K miles. Very happy with the initial impression of the car and color combo.

Thank you kydfx. Looks like we both got 3k off of MSRP, putting us very close or slightly lower than MSRP.

Picked up a GT with MSRP of $42925 for $38498 negotiated price with $500 loyalty. Only thing I couldn't negotiate out was the ridiculous $499 doc fee.
Also got 0% 63 months from Mazda finance (Chase - which I really like). Always great to have 0% for that long.

I think the most awful thing in NJ is the 6.875% sales tax. Any other state I've lived in has a lower tax on car purchases (OK 3.25%, NC 3%, TX 6.25% (still high but 2% lower than state tax rate), SC 5%. So tax was over $2600 ($41 a month just for tax) since I didn't have a trade to offset cost. YUCK.

All things equal still feel it was a good deal for us.

Be thankful you don't live in FL - I've seen doc fees there as high as $999!

And, sales tax is higher than that in a lot of states - it's 8% for me in Colorado.

I've been shopping around for the same car, vicky. You can get a certified used 2016 for $33k-$36k, so in my opinion these are used cars and should be priced similarly.

With the $1500 in customer cash, I'm negotiating a 2017 CX-9 GT AWD for ~$38,000 in New Jersey. I also get $500 of loyalty cash. I love the car and have been comparing it with other 3-row SUVs. The Honda Pilot feels like a school bus compared to it (the Odyssey drives better than the Pilot); the Highlander has no feel at all. The only thing I like more, and that's at at least a $8000 increase, is the MDX, and that still doesn't have the heads-up display or a few other features.
