36/12 is the sweet spot this month ... .00065 and 56%. $1850 lease cash.

I have gotten a quote from a dealer. They gave me a 36 month and a 39 month. It was like $10 difference.  
Does anyone know what the inception fee is. I know he said there was no dispo fee. 

do you normally pay inception and mv fees upfront?

also does Buick do the thing where even though there is a value at the end of the lease, they may offer it to you lower if you want to buy? Volvo used to do that.

$595 acquisition and $495 disposition fee for GM Financial leases

You can roll in whatever you want. Pay non-taxable fees upfront, to keep them from being taxed within the lease payment.

I don't have the adjusted cap cost yet but the quote for 36/12 is $339 for leather awd. MSRP $32,765 which sounds pretty incredible. 
 A convenience fwd is $279 for 36/12. MSRP $28,170 

$900 upfront which he said would cover
 1st month,
MV $311 estimate
$295 doc
8.95 NJ online processing 
but it was $900 for either deal which doesn't make sense. 
He did not mention acquisition so I have to find out if it's rolled in as well as taxes.   


I asked for $12,000 for my car  and they accepted that amount. Maybe I low balled my own trade but that was the high end of edmunds and black book. I do still owe on it but it's less than the 12k

he also gave me numbers for 24/12k. $342 for the leather and $275 for the convenience. I would get on star nav and xm for the two years. 

Any of these sound good. I just hope it's not a bait and switch. I met the guy during the 24 hr test drive and we have lots of competition in this area. And I have a gm family first code. Maybe it's legit. I will get more info tomorrow

I'm not familiar with leases. Is it usual to have leases based on MSRP? If you bought the car you would be paying way less than that through negotiation. I also thought there was cash back which would lower the price.

The residual value in a lease is calculated against MSRP. Negotiating a lower price (just like for a purchase) will lower your payment.

Lease cash is a factory to dealer incentive; the dealer can choose to pass it along to the customer.

Okay I got more details today.
For the FWD convenience the net cap cost is $24,224, MSRP is 28,170. 36/12 is $279 inc tax
The leather AWD cap cost is $28,601, MSRP is 32,765, 36/12 is $339 inc tax

For 24/12 the monthly is $275 convenience and $342 leather. Those would include xm, and the on star. All of their deals include oil changes.
I ran these numbers through lease guide with .00065 mr and 56% residual and these numbers are spot on.

I really should jump on one of these deals. I know you can buy out the lease if you love the car at the end, does that make sense with a 24 month? Is the residual too high?

It's up to you to buy the car at the end of the lease, but if you plan to keep it for years, why not just buy it outright? The fees associated with a lease don't exist when you purchase.

We would need to know the sticker price and the selling price to tell you if it's a good deal.

Yes, the MF is similar to an interest rate - the lower, the better.

The 36/12 numbers for the 2015 Encore Convenience are .00065 and 56%, with $1850 lease cash. The lease cash is a factory to dealer incentive that is similar to a rebate - use that knowledge to negotiate your best selling price.

Don't know your tax rate. I would assume somewhere around 7%

MF is same. Residual is .54 36 months and .53 39 months 15,000 miles per year. Add 2 points for 12,000 miles and add 3 points for 10,000 miles per year.

39 month residuals are 1% less than 36 months. All other numbers are the same.

Also, when I tell the dealer that I get the employee discount...they are simply changing the MSRP to the "employee MSRP" which is increasing the Dep portion of the lease. Is this correct? I thought the MSRP that the Dep is calculated off of is the actual MSRP and NOT the MSRP less the employee discount? Can you confirm if I am misunderstanding how the Dep Fee potion of the lease payment is calculated?

Not as good .. standard MF (don't know exactly what that is, but I'd guess around .00200 or so), and 68% residual. No lease cash.
