I don't have enough information ... you'd have to give me the residual, net cap cost and money factor in addition to the MSRP in order to figure the payment.

Can you supply the October money factor for best credit and residual% for a 2015 Ram 1500 Express Quad Cab 4x4 6'4" box. Lease is 39/12k. Also would you know if an acquisition fee is applicable on this lease at this time? Thanks very much!

.00013 MF and 52% residual. Acquisition fee is $595 on this model/trim.

Get the big horn this month. 56% residual. Make sure they run the deal through ally and Chrysler to get the best deal. Chrysler is not charging a bank fee.

I am looking at a 2015 1500 Big Horn, crew cab 4x4 hemi. the dealership has a lease price of $259 a month plus down payment of 2,999. after taxes and all of that comes out to $5,000 down.

If i do this out myself i am looking at MSRP of 44,000
Sale price(based on Truecar/real price before taxes) 36,300
residual 56%
MF .00015
For 36 month 10,000 mile lease no money down i came out with 333.00 a month
taxes 357.00 a month

is there something i am missing or would i be better off fighting for the price came up with rather then the lease special?

i am also considering that i would like to purchase the truck at the end of the 36 months, is that a bad idea?

$2999 down works out to about $83/mo on the payment, so the true payment would be $342/mo before tax, so pretty close to your own calculations. We do not recommend making a down payment on a lease; if the truck is stolen or totaled, you lose that money.

Negotiate the best selling price you can, and ensure that the dealer isn't marking up the MF.

That said, if you plan to keep the truck after the lease term, you might be better served to buy it outright and use the purchase incentives to help you (rebates and low APR).

However, the 42 month offers a lower rate which trims off approximately 0.216% of an already very low MF! At a glance, the 42 months appears to be the BEST overall lease offer. ****Would you agree?

Is it standard to multiply the MF by 2,400 to get an approximate APR? Why is my dealer insisting that Ally has
a better deal at 5% compared with the Chrysler money factors? The residual he is quoting is also at 50% on a 4WD 2015 Outdoorsman.

Any advice?

Yes, multiply MF by 2400 to get APR.

Ally leases often have very large incentives attached to them to offset the higher MF and lower residual than a Chrysler Finance lease.
