I'll assume AWD since you are in NY.

    36/15 and 39/15 numbers are .00106 and 57%

Hi, Can you please provide the residual and MF for a 39/12k lease on a FWD QX60? Also, what is the MF discount per security deposit, and how many MSDs are allowed? Thanks!

    .00106 MF and 58% residual

You can make 9 deposits, and each one would lower the MF by .00010, for a total reduction of .00090 and a final MF of .00016. Will probably save you $60/mo., more or less..

Here is the deal I got on my wifes new car.

    2015 QX60 AWD
    Premium Package
    Roof Racks & Side Rails
    Rear plate protector
    MSRP $47,555
    Negotiated price $42,000
    Residual $28,500
    Zero Down
Zero 1st payment including dealer fees
    39 month lease
    10 K per year mileage
    Monthly Base Lease $470
    MA Sales Tax $29 (6.25%)
Monthly lease price $499 for 38 payments
Total payments $18,962 which comes to 40% of MSRP.

Thoughts?  I think it is a good deal since I gave nothing out of pocket or trade.

  • What is an MSD? How does this lower the money factor?

MSD is Multiple Security Deposit. It is the amount of the monthly payment rounded up to the next $50. Each security deposit reduces the money factor by .00005.

Michaell, for Infiniti, each MSD lowers the money factor by .0001. I just used 9 of them in May and it lowered the rate from .00106 to .00016. I believe that the reduction per MSD is greater for Infiniti than it is for Lexus, BMW, Mercedes and Volvo. The reduction essentially took the interest rate from 2.54% to .38%.

Sorry, you are correct. Too many MSD programs for me to remember, apparently.

Hello. I was hoping someone could help me with some ideas on pricing for a qx60 with technology and premium plus package. Looking for $0 oop, 10k miles and whatever promotional term is best. My other question is if there is any special pricing coming with 2016 on the way.

Read back through the last couple of pages to see what others have been able to negotiate, price-wise.

The 36/10 numbers for the QX60 are .00106 and 59% (FWD) or 60% (AWD).

Can't tell you what may happen with these number in the future.

    .00106 MF and 59% residual.

Without an MSRP and selling price, we can't really tell you anything more.

Thank you. Here is the offer from a local dealer:

    FWD
    MSRP:51180
    Sales price: 44364

    MF: 0.00016 (after 9 MSDs). residual 56% (39months/15k). sales tax=9%.

The dealer gave me $469/month lease but my own calculation shows $452. which number is correct?

Drive off is $967.72 but if I pay it upfront it shouldn't be factored into the monthly payment?

By the way, the sales price $44364 is for purchase. For lease should I add the $700 acquisition fee to the sales price? then my number becomes $471 which is pretty close to the dealer's number.

I get the same thing you do.. but, you don't have the CAP cost. The difference is probably the $700 acquisition fee.

yes that's what I figured too ($700 acquisition fee).

it looks like the driveoff cost = registration + doc fee + 1st month payment, and the $700 acquisition fee is added to the sales price as part of the CAP cost. Is this how things are typically done for a lease?

Non-taxable fees are usually paid upfront. Other than that, it's however you wish to structure the lease

besides the $700 acquisition fee, are there other "hidden" fees for leasing a QX60? Will the dealer charge purchase option fee or disposition fee?

There is a disposition fee on just about every lease. It's charged by the bank... but, not until lease end.

Will there be other fees you aren't expecting? Probably... you should be on the lookout for every extra charge.

36/15 on the QX60 AWD is .00106 and 57%. 39 month residual is the same as 36 months, so that's the sweet spot this month.

Add 2% for 12K per year.

one of the dealers told me that even without considering the acquisition fee ($700), the sales price on a lease would be higher than the sales price on a purchase - is this true or negotiable?

I am at a dealer now and salesperson said Infiniti only allows  7 msds (not 9) on a fully loaded QX60. Is that bogus?
