also does location matters? If so I am in Harrisburg PA. And does the sport package has an impact as well or it doesnt?

2015 Q70 3.7 - Invoice:$52,783 MSRP: $56,450 - both include $905 destination/handling and $300K ICAP.
39 months, 10k, w/ $1,500 total due @ lease signing and pay ONLY $532 +tax, $579 Total (CA tax)
52% resid, .00014 MF

What is the cap cost they have proposed here? Is this a good deal?

I confirm the .00014 and 52% on the 3.7 RWD for 39/10.

I can't calculate the cap cost - ask them for that number specifically and how they arrived at it from the invoice price.

If I use the MSRP and the invoice price as the cap cost, I get a pre-tax payment of $612.24. Something seems off with their numbers to get $532/mo pre-tax.

OK, much better ... I now show $522/mo pre-tax with the new cap cost. Much closer to the $532/mo quote from the dealer.

So if I do the maximum MSDs of 9 the MF should be .00019 correct?
How are some people here (post above mine) getting MF of .00014 is that b/c of mileage or something else?

Hi folks, Looking at a 2015 QX70S demo that my dealer has (3K on the clock) and have the following offer from them (after a little wiggling, but not enough IMO).

36mo, 10K/yr ~

MSRP - $59,940
Sale Price - $52,940
MF - .00012
Residual - $32,367

Lease: $4K down, $578/mo+tax

Seems steep to me. With those numbers, I come up with $0 down and 581/mo + tax/fees.

36/10 lease numbers on the QX70 AWD are .00012 and 54%. Using your MSRP and sale price, I get a pre-tax payment of $582/mo - right on with your numbers. And, $0 down as well.

Are you planning to cover the up front costs (bank fee, dealer fee, etc.) at signing or roll them into the lease? You'll need to get the net cap cost from the dealer to get an accurate reflection of the payment.

Thanks, Michaell. I am trying to have the fees discounted as well. I think a new car could see a $7-8K discount, so I am hoping $9K plus fees is a fair discount for a demo car. I offered $4K at signing (including ~$3K down, first month, two deposits [.00002 MF], and fees), and $473/mo including 9% tax. That is $50,940 - $3K for $47,940 cap cost. Will see. My math adds up, but it's a ways off from his.

Edit: He shared his math. Less of a discount and full fees added to the cap made the difference. At least his math pencils out, but isn't a deal I am jumping on.

The only one of those fees that goes to the dealer is the $80 doc fee. Since every dealer in CA charges that fee, it's doubtful they will discount that one, either.

The only way to get cheaper is a bigger discount from MSRP.

Thanks for that detail.
His latest offer. Added a "mileage adjustment" at the bottom (it's a demo, which is why I think the sale price should go even lower). Not sure how this adjustment factors in (looks like it lowered the residual), and I have to laugh at the numbers moving in the wrong direction.

Surely, he meant to discount the demo more than the brand new one? Possibly just forgot to change it...

Point it out to him, and maybe you'll see an adjustment that might make it cheaper.

The mileage adjustment is apparently required by Infiniti - residual down .10/mile for demo miles (nice that they charge .25/mile on the back end). Sale price is down to $52,540. 39mo lease, $4K at signing, $560/mo (see breakdown below), all inclusive. Another dealer told me this deal is great, to take it - I believe him, since he was trying to match it (and said he could not get close) and he gains nothing from me taking this deal with another dealer. But it's not quite good enough!

Questions:
-Does anybody have a 48mo residual handy (10K)?
-Any historical data for September incentives? Perhaps MY15s get a boost with 16s incoming. The sales manager said he was optimistic that "another inventory adjustment" could bring us down to $535/mo (seems like another $1K off the sales price). I trust he is as low as he can go right now.
-Do current offers require any SD? I see on Infiniti USA the advertised lease deal requires no SD, but my breakdown above has $1K SD (to bring MF down from .00012 to .00002). Wondering if I should be getting that lower MF with only 1 SD (which equals 1mo, right)?
- What is the $150 sales tax up front? I thought only the cap reduction would be taxed (for about $100.. only $50 difference, but still).

48/10 residual is 42% for RWD and 44% for AWD.

No inkling on what September numbers or incentives will look like.

Security deposit is usually waived; you are using it to buy down the MF. That said, I'm showing a base MF of .00181 this month.

Acquisition fee is subject to sales tax as well.

If you want the low money factor, you have to stay at 39 months or less. I doubt 48 month numbers will be better than 39.

Those are the base numbers for top tier credit, provided by the lender (IFS).

You cannot go lower
