Why are XC60 2015.5 T5 drive-e cars scarce or non-existant at Massachusetts dealerships?

It's not just Massachusetts but also throughout the New York tri-state area as well. I've been to 4 volvo dealers (in NJ, NY and CT) and found only one T5 Drive-e XC60 and they had to go to a storage lot offsite to get it. It's unbelievable is you ask me. Volvo is staking their future on the 4 cylinder drive-e engine and you can't even get one in the biggest city in America. A dealer in New Jersey told me that they really only sell T6 AWD SUVs and they struggled to understand why I would want the Drive-E models. Perhaps Volvo has tasked the Northeast dealers with liquidating all of the old engines?

It's front wheel drive vs. AWD in snow country. Plus, it's an SUV, which is traditionally AWD.

Drive by the BMW or Infiniti dealer and try to find any RWD cars. They make plenty of them, but Northeast dealers aren't going to stock them.

Not that I've looked, but I suspect the same is true here in Colorado ...

Now, if you go to Arizona or Florida, there may be lots of them.

If that's the model you want, I'm sure you can find a dealer willing to custom order one for you.
