Best Time to go for a new lease?

In error I signed up for a 4 year lease in the spring of 2012. 36 Mo. would have been better.
Should I wait for the 2016 Elantra and allow the lease to expire, or seek a deal to lease earlier? OR, because the current Elanta is in perfect showroom condition, re-lease it with only 16,000 miles on it?

Why don't you just buy it at this point? At the rate you accumulate mileage, this current car will serve you for a very long time.

If you've only put 16,000 mile on the car in 3 years, you may be best served to buy out the lease next spring. Hyundai has that long warranty (10 years) that works in your favor.

My folks have a 2003 Hyundai Sonata with only 40,000 miles on it and it runs perfectly.
