    Leased a 2015 Santa Fe Limited FWD in Dallas

    $35,705 MSRP
    $28,000 Purchase Price
    $0 out of pocket
    Net Cap Cost of $28k+$687.50 tax+$192.25 reg fees+$150 doc
    Residual of $19637.75
    MF Supposedly at .0009
    Monthly payment of $331.25 including tax

    Tax was only on $11k of purchase price because we traded in a 2013 Escape that was paid off that they gave us $17k for.

    How'd we do?  No real mention of money factor for November.  We did see $3250 of lease cash and $750 Conquest.

    MF is .00050 this month.

    Good that you got the credit on the taxes, since TX applies sales tax to the entire selling price, even in a lease.

    Did you get a check from the dealer for the equity in your trade?

    Check will be issued for the $17k equity in the 2013 Escape once the lease funds through Hyundai Financial.

    Looks like I should have checked in before signing the paperwork, likely could have gotten the MF a bit lower.  The offset is that they came in $2k above KBB and Edmunds on our trade-in.

    At a .0005 MF hat would have the payment been?

    Base MF would have saved you about $20/mo ...

    Glad that you're cashing out the equity .. that's the right decision.
