    Hemmings Motor News is good. Go to classifieds, then to services offered, then to appraisers. Once the list comes up, you can choose to "sort by state". Naturally, you want someone close to the car you wish to have inspected.

    Try to find an individual rather than a national inspection service. An individual will give you a written report and chat with you before and after on the phone, whereas most national inspection services broker out the jobs to .....whoever....and often use standardized checklists, which I personally find useless.
