Hi,
Can someone tell me if I can possibly get a better deal? Please rate 1 to 10 (10 very best deal possible)
a. MSRP: $52,580.00 – Base MSRP: $42,790
b. Invoice: $48,660
c. Holdback: $855.80 (Dealers get 2% of Base MSRP)
d. Rebate: $700 minus Monthly Fee: __ Remainder goes to *Cap Cost Reduction*
Dealer Cost: $48,660 minus $855.80: $47,804 minus rebate:___<--Remainder of 1st Month Comp Deal
Cap Cost(Selling Price of Vehicle): $46350
Cap Cost Reduction( Down-Payment, Trade-In Allowance, Rebates): Roughly $300
Residual: 72%(24Month) 12k Miles
Money Factor: .0009 (2.16%)
Lease Inception Fees(Due at signing):
1st Month Payment Waiver: - **Remainder goes to Cap Cost Reduction(Refer to **
Down Payment(Cap Cost Reduction, Don’t Mix with *Due At Signing): 0$
Inception Fees: $1200 ($750 acquisition/ the rest i'm not sure what their upcharging on fees
Overall: 12k/24: $510 Tax included - $0 down payment. I'm not exactly sure if the manager rolled the fees into the lease or I have to pay up front, but it looks like 0$ due at signing.
I did a dealer competition with $0 down because I wanted an apples-apples comparison. So if I put $2,000 down, is it better to tell them to use the $2,000 as a cap cost reduction and roll the upfront fees in the lease? or pay upfront fees and remainder in cap cost reduction? I'm not sure which is the smart way.
Or should I just use the $2,000 for MSDs to lower my monthly payment and hopefully get my MSDs back at the end of lease?
According to my calculations, if put $2,000 down, monthly comes down to $421.88. And it seems like overall I end up paying more if I put $2,000 down compared to 0$down by about a few hundred dollars in the end.
Also, can someone please advise me if its worth getting maintenance or wear and tear? I'm assuming don't bother since 24 month right?
Thanks!

I wouldn't buy any extra plans on a lease.

Do you think theres room for more negotiations or is that pushing it? I just don't want to go in asking for something impossible. I was looking to go for $410 tax included.
Thanks!

The dealership is claiming that it had to be driven from another dealership about 100 miles away so total miles on car is about 150... Because theres 150 miles.. should I worry that it was a demo/loaner car?
Should I use this as leverage to bring my cost down a bit more? Only problem, these RC's seem to be going out fast. Dealer told me mutiple people have offered on it already. So they will sell if I don't purchase today.
Thanks!
