What does the 55% mean again? Does the dealership give me that percentage or do I calculate it myself? Thanks so much.

55% is the expected residual value at the end of the lease. It is a percentage of the MSRP

The residual is 14,800 on a 36k MSRP. The last dealership was 14,300. Is this not good?

No.. that is not good. We only have GM Financial numbers, which have now expired. Still waiting for the November program.

Thanks for letting me know, I thought that deal was fishy. I now know that lower is better. The 14.3 was 55% on the MSRP of 26k, so that's how it should be, and that's what 2 dealerships offered me. I don't know how the one dealership was $500 more.

Thanks! Does the lease cash listed include consumer rebates as well? I believe there is a $1,500 rebate on the hood, as well as possibly other bonus cash offers.

I'm looking at a 2016 Malibu 2ltz(premier). I test drove today and just asked about lease cash. He said $1765. Is the $4065 a combination of offers?

Still haven't gone as far as negotiating price yet(sticker was 35k), but am interested in 36/24 12k lease numbers; cash, mf and residuals.

There are two different 2016 Malibus for sale - one is the "Limited", which is the old body style. The LT and LTZ trim levels of the Malibu Limited have the $4085 lease cash.

The other is the new, sleeker Malibu. This model only has $1765 lease cash available.

Looking to lease a 2016 Malibu Limited LTZ...MSRP 33,470...is a demo with 2,200 miles so dealership giving a 5,570 rebate for the miles...question what current offers are there and how much should I be looking in monthly payments if it was a 24 month lease with 15k miles per year. Help is greatly appreciated as I'm new to leasing and have no clue what I should be looking for, I am in Texas.

We would need to know the negotiated selling price - after the incentives are applied - to figure the payment.

Be advised that in Texas, sales tax is applied against the entire selling price.
